Didn't have my scale but I caught my PB last week in Elk River, ID. This thing was a toad!

 

Can't wait man, a little less than two weeks!!!

 

Went out on a Gulf Stream fishing trip today with my dad off the Carolina coast. Few snapper, grunt and trigger fish. Also caught a decent amberjack and almacore.

 

Mike them trigger are good eating. We target them also when we go out.

 

Yesterday on the Columbia River.

 

A few seconds after the first cast of the day with his plastic spider man toy rod. Now his standards are set too high and expects to get a bite immediately.

Hey guys. Just went fishing in the Sierra's.

 

Fished last Thursday on the Colombia River. Smoked the Chinook up over the weekend.

 

1st cast was a joke.

 

Took the boat out fishing for some brown trout here in nor-cal. I caught 8 including this really beautiful one.

 

Went out fishing this weekend and cought this old ugly 13.4 lbs monster brown. Don't be fooled by the stringer. To get it in I fought it for about 20 min. I had to slowly drag it along side the boat to insure a safe healthy release.

 

What part of the country you at? Those are some nice fish do you eat those or toss back?
Where did you get that sick hat?

 

I don't really do a lot of fishing. But i like to drown some worms every once and a while. This day i wasn't fishing for anything in particular but had seen a few small mouth bass a few days before and a buddy caught a decent one. So when I reeled in this Catfish I was really surprised. Probably the biggest fish I have ever actually caught.

 

Thanks bro. I live and fish in norther california, near Lake Tahoe. I do mostly catch and relise. The only time I keep one is if I'm camping. Or if i planning on eating one that night. I won't keep one if it has to go in the freezer. I try to go fishing at least once to twice a week. Brown trout is the target species I usually fish for. The hat is a Simms hat. You can get one on line or at any fly fishing store that sells Simms products.

 

Getting ready
Lake Fork Texas Another Sooner Lake Pig about 7-1/2 lbs Sooner Lake my youngest, caught about 30 in 2hrs. Spent an hour playing with them in live well before releasing. Dad and me on annual end of February Toledo Bend trip. Caught a 10.25 by tall tree the previous year.

 

We used to get catfish at Milford Lake when I lived in Kansas. We would season them with salt pepper garlic paprika wrap them in bacon like this and bake them with onions and green peppers laiad on top.

Side it off with cheese grits ang! You have a meal

 

Went out to my buddy's private lake yesterday. Got 4 brown trout and 2 large mouth bass. This 5 pounder was my biggest.

 

Harvest moon and the barometric pressure was dropping this morning, time to go fishing. With the lower temps we've had the crappie have turned on here in Central VA.

 

A little trio to the eastern sierras

 

Went fishing yesterday evening. Put my small jon boat on a half empty water agency forbay. Between my and my buddy we cought 19 brown trout in 2 and a half hours.

 

Caught a decent size large mouth bass tonight.
