Get out of my head! That was my same question. Think I’ll buy a grease gun and throw some fresh in there once a year, but still have LS repack and inspect every two years. They put in new seals and can put eyes on the bearings to look for wear.

I dislike greasing zirks. Am I putting too much in? Not enough? Pushing too hard and going to blow a seal? Now the grease is everywhere and on everything.

Reminds me of my first time I….never mind

I always wonder that too when I grease the truck driveline.

On the same subject, I try and put a hand on the hubs every couple hundred miles of towing to check for a hot bearing.

Couple hundred miles is easy with the Tundra. Every tank of gas!

I’m glad everything on my truck is sealed. Don’t have to dick with any of that stuff

Yeah, I do the hub check too after a good long drive.

Well it’s my Friday night. Made dinner for the fam. Now chilling in the garage/gym with the doggo waiting for the Traeger to cool down. Cheers!

Unrelated Toyota is now contacting me about my truck. Today I told the wife I wouldn’t mind another Taco or 4R…but that Outback is still on the list. She asked why..then said ok. Getting closer. Might call Toyota back tomorrow and see what they have to say.

Man, I got fatter just looking at that picture. Well, that and the 2nd Guinness I just finished. It didn’t help all my meetings today I actually had to participate in, so couldn’t lift weights while listening to bloat-heads.

    Think I need another beer.

Awesome garage gym! I’d love to have that someday. All I’ve got is a treadmill and a cable machine at the moment.

I had two Coke Zero and Knob Creek's. That add isn't wrong...that Coke Zero is pretty freaking good.

Work was a PITA this week so figured two small drinks tonight and thats it. Now to focus on cleaning all the black iron pipe for my daughters closet. If I get it cleaned and prepped tomorrow I will probably just paint it on Friday. Still need a couple 36" pieces that should be in next week before I can start building.

The gym has been ever evolving for a few years. We have been in some state of a remodel for the last 7 months and my gym has been destroyed up until about three weeks ago. I gained way more weight then I would have ever assumed. So as soon as I had my gym space back I cleaned it up and started again. No excuses now!

Thank you @20GR8 Super . I sold our quads to start this thing. The next thing I am trying to get is an Assault Air runner if I can sell my Rogue Reverse hyper. I need the space first.

Looks like you got it before I could chime in. I have a micro Minnie, so be careful if you try to clean out the extra grease from the center after lubing with a paper towel or rag using your finger. I cut my fingers every time. Duh! Who knew the edges are sharp?

My garage gym has been occupied with crap for the last three weeks while this fireplace rehab has been done (cement board, stone, bags of mortar, etc.). I have not worked out that whole time and now I feel like a fat ass. Didn’t help myself with the pint of stout beer I had with dinner.

Di you already have a bike for your gym? I have a Rogue Echo bike and that thing kicks my ass no matter what shape I am in.

Your not the first person that I have heard say that about that type of bike. I’ve heard that if you push yourself they are a great workout. I think my next addition is going to be a folding rowing machine or some free weights. I just got to make it thru winter till I can get back on the mountain bike. That’s my main form of cardio most of the year.

I forgot you have one too! Thanks for the tip, I’ll be sure to watch it if/when I get at it.

Have you seen the current prices on the MM’s? They are nuts!

Looking good! I feel your pain though with stuff going into the gym space. It was driving me nuts!
I would clean mine up, then the next day come home from work and there are boot prints across my floor, Sheetrock dust, and at some points even my own tools.

Anyway…I currently don’t have a bike. The wife wants a spin bike but that will go downstairs in the playroom/basement. I used to have an air bike. I agree that thing was brutal!!

Concept rowers are great too. That was my first piece of cardio equipment and I do enjoy it for longer cardio sessions. Clip an iPad to it and row for an hour while watching a movie or something. Invest in a seat pad so your butt doesn’t go numb though.

My in-laws just bought a new MM a few weeks ago. Stupid expensive but it does have some nice equipment in it.

Maybe I’m showing my age, but what’s the term when “dumpster fire” isn’t adequate? Should we just call it Portland? Seattle’d?

No offense to the OR team. Seattle is just as bad.

    Tonneau update.
As I ranted last week, the package traveled 620ish miles in 3 days.

Then it traveled 2,000 miles in 36 hours, arriving yesterday at a depot 24 miles south if me.

Last night it was shipped to another depot, 24 miles north of me. You cannot make this chit up.

    Delivery tomorrow I hope…

@Juanjoolio007 What did you use for the wood wall cladding in your home gym? I would like to do something similar behind my wall mounted rig but everything is damn expensive. Might just paint the wall a different color than primer white.

Forward looking camera, Stub Antenna, 3M clearshield. A few other non lifted items.
My wife and I used to ride the light rail into Seattle before Covid, and the last time coming back at 11pm it was really getting to feel unsafe. We traveled from SeaTac to Downtown. We thought at that time it was our last time doing that. Well, we moved further north recently, so I doubt if we will ever go back there except for an Art event. We’ve only been into Seattle once in the last 2 years for the Van Gogh special exhibit. Seattle was a joy 40 years ago..

Yep, I am between Beaverton and Hillsboro. Only time I go downtown is for very specific needs. My wife works in NW Portland which has always been the trendy shopping area. Even it has gone to crap, vacant store fronts, etc.
