    Function before sparkle.
No problem. I'm a function first kind of guy, but I absolutely prefer a color match.

When the cap is darker than the truck, i think it doesn’t have the SUV look sometimes you get with a cap

    Too many, but not enough....
OP I think it looks fine. I would want it matched if i didnt have to pay hundreds for it. I would seriously consider spraying it with Raptor myself for 100 bucks or so, maybe do the same to the flares to match it. I like the old school look of your truck in general, I am a RWL out kinda guy myself.

Side note: is that the rhino racks on your roof? ROC25?

I agree, doesn't look crazy bad at all. Obviously color match would be ideal, but it's totally fine until you decide, get funds or whatever. Nice set up by the way..

Vinyl wrap is fairly cheap if you do it yourself.

I'm 50/50. Black or color match. The black does go with you other black accents though.

I’d wait for it to warm up a little, then try some color match duplicolor. If that works for you for now, see if it grows on you.
I’d probably ditch that basketball hoop from the roof rack though.

Color match looks better imo. You can probably find a spray paint that’s close enough and diy in the garage

Vinyl wrap or paint color match no question.

Never black, unless you live in Alaska or Canada where it is cold all the time.
Black will just cook anything you put in the bed if you live where it is warm most/half the time.

I don't understand why anyone that lives south of the great lakes would ever want a black vehicle.
Everything wears out faster and is destroyed by the excessive heat during warm weather.

My black 98 4runner is like 140+ degrees inside in the summer sitting outside.
Touching the paint with delicate skin causes 3rd degree burns.
Interior electronics like door locks and stereo fail intermittently due to high heat and depending which side of the truck is facing the sun.
Dash is dry rotted and cracked, seats are dried out, door panels dried out, seat covers dried out and crumbling.
AC can't keep up in summer.
Even with religious sunshade use in the windshield and tinted windows.

My 14 Tundra 1794 in super white is 2 degrees above ambient temperature inside and touching the paint with ANY skin is completely safe year-round.
I live in VA suburbs of DC.
My AC will freeze you out even on the hottest summer day.

Black color on anything used outside just sucks imho.

Yes black looks nice, but looks stop where function/safety/longevity matters.

    Isnt this the answer?

I passed on a set of BBS pro wheels with good tires for $700 because my wife didn't like them. They sold 30 minutes later.

I'd say color match it, I think the black is a little much on that large of a section... getting rid of the chrome on your wheels would look good too
