I have an 01 AC Tundra. I just picked up some WT4 wheels from an 06 XSP 4runner. The lugs that the guy gave me are ACORN style and I currently have the shank style.

My question is, are the ACORN style the correct one for the WT4 wheels???? If so, I know I can just use those but I wasn't sure because I thought all toyotas used shank style.

I was taught you just look into the lughole to know what's correct.

If the hole is counter-sunk in appearance where the lugnut will mate, use acorn.
If the hole is flat in appearance where the lugnut will mate, use shank style.

What @shifty` stated, look in the hole.

These used acorn nuts, my stock wheels of my 2005.

There’s another potential issue. Vehicles with the flat washer style are manufactured and sold as ‘hub centric’.
The ones that came with the tapered countersink are ‘wheel centric’. Use of wheel centric style wheels on a vehicle that was designed with the hub centric style, may be difficult to balance. I have not experienced this myself, but there’s been several threads where this has come up.

From what I gathered when getting aftermarket wheels was that you can make any wheel hub centric with hub centric rings, at least that's what I did. Since the wheels he is putting on now are Toyota made, theoretically they should still be hubcentric for tundras. I would look into it, as long as the bore on the wheels is 106mm he should be fine when it comes to hub vs lugcentric.

Looks street sport. Now you just need a Belltech lowering kit on it to round out the appearance. Drop it about 3 in front, 4 in the rear and it'd look mean as hell. Those wheels from the XSP trucks don't seem to look quite right with anything meatier on them.
