Were you able to get the 14" screen? I'm trying to get the same SR5 with TRD Sport and the Advanced Tech Package but only color I see is Lunar Rock on the site.

 

Go talk to your dealer. I had the same issue on the Toyota build configurator but when I talked to the salesman he said that configurator is not accurate and showed me the dealer daily with allocation for exactly what you’re looking for. I put a deposit down on a Crew Max SR5 5.5 with the TRD Sport Premium with premium audio in Army Green, a configuration that wasn’t possible on the website.

 

It seems to be zip code based, change it to somewhere a little farther and other options will be made available. If I shift from the CA Bay Area to Reno suddenly every option is there.

 

That does allow you to see the build online but that doesn’t necessarily mean you will need to go to a dealer in that area code to get the configuration you want. Some things ARE regionally restricted like the TSS and whatnot but don’t rely on the configurator to make your build decisions.

 

2022 Tundra 1794 2wd in Silver with brown interior. Power side steps, power bed step, and center console safe are the only options. I had a 2017 Tacoma TRD Off-road in quicksand with a 6-speed manual before this and I loved that Tacoma. Not in love with the Tundra yet but I’m keeping an open mind. It’s much bigger than the Tacoma and much faster too.

What makes you not in love with it?

 

The size of the truck, it’s big. The looks are just ok, but it needs some help in that department. But the biggest thing is I feel like I’m just a passenger in it. I feel like any car should always go when you put your foot on the gas, and shouldn’t stop unless you put your foot on the brakes. This truck kinda goes and stops when it wants to at times, regardless of what my feet are doing. I get the safety tech is helpful, but I like to drive cars not let them drive me.

 

Oh and beeps, the warning chimes, the seatbelt reminders, the trucks beeps for everything. Place a tool bag on the back seat….guess what happens if you don’t fasten the seatbelt to hold that tool bag down….yep beeps and beeps and beeps.

 

Beautiful. Which dealer? I can't any TRD Sport Premium plus Audio Package in the west coast. None.

 

That's the color and package on my wishlist. But can't find it. Did yours come with the softex and 14" screen?

 

I think those beeps are everywhere! Our ‘19 RAV4 hybrid has many beeps that are simply a learning curve, annoying but present.

Wouldn’t exactly call them snowy roads…. Unless your from Southern states…. That’s about as perfect winter conditions get up here

 

You don't love your new Tundra? maybe because you got the 2WD? I would never get a 2WD vehicle if 4WD is an option. Your truck looks great! love the silver!

South Mississippi…last time we saw snow was about 15 years ago and it was gone in hours.

Can you pls confirm, on Canadian Limited TRD, it does not have the digital rear view mirror? Also does the 3rd brake light set up have 1 or 2 cameras in it?

correct.. 1 camera in the 3rd brake light and regular self dimming review camera.

 

You have a nice truck. Do you also have cameras front, rear tailgate and each mirror? Do you have the bird's eye camera view?

lunar rock. I also like army green, but a co worker has that exact truck.

I definitely wouldn’t go without a full size truck, but for my work, a Tacoma is perfect
