    That's a clean rig.
The market here in So Cal has gotten ridiculous for nice low mileage Gen 1 Tundras like yours.
If it were here, I wouldn't be surprised to see an initial asking price in the high 20's, even low 30's.
Good luck with the sale, someone is going to get a nice truck.

OH MAN................I have worked it in all directions.

It will pull it as I have made 2 trips in it......this is a bass boat which will see regular use.......and it does a reasonable job. Pulling it is a ton of work thus a bigger truck makes cake of the job. I ran across a Ram 2500 with a Cummings, and it pulls it with no stress or strain.

I have accepted the fact I am going to take a hit.

Your not wrong with your statement.

Have you thought about regearing? Not sure what your stock gearing is but if you go to a lower gear, say 4.56 or 4.88. it'll give you a better pull.

I think it is probably a $20,000 truck. It looks like you did a really nice job with it.

A bass boat and trailer can’t be more than 4k on the high end. Unless you’re climbing passes and seeing elevation you should’ve have any issues towing on a regular basis. I spend summers towing 5-7k pound boats at 6000’ and climb 1000’+. Regearing will be cheaper than a Cummins. Just my 2 cents.

Put $25K on it on a national website like cars or autotrader and wait. Someone out there may be willing to pay. My feels is that it's about a $18k truck without all the add-ons. The add-ons hurt more than they help usually. Rust history isn't great, but if the frame is solid and unaffected, no biggie.

Once I get the last ring set from Nitro. I went with 4.88’s. Stock gears with 34’s weren’t horrible but could use some help.

15-18k is realistic. People paying over 20k for these low mileage 1st gens are looking for a Limited with all options. Unfortunately all the money you spent to fix the frame rust doesn't add value as a low mileage no rust truck is what people are expecting.

Given everything you've done to it, I'd think it should be able to pull $22k - 24k to the right buyer somewhere in the USA, through one of the auction sites.

Local sale, or on here? I could see you netting $18k - $20k all day. Looks nicely optioned, I just don't see room for a break-even.

I too think this truck should sell for $20k, so list it at $25k and see what happens.

Disappointed to see you’re having issues towing your bass boat - I’m a little perplexed because I have a 2.5 gen that tows our wake boat up and down 8% grades and does it quite well.

I agree with an asking price in the low to mid 20’s. I think it will take the right buyer to get over $20k.

A re-gear will run you about $2K...I'd go with 4.88s....so that's a gamble, but it would be worth it to me...but if you have mentally resigned yourself to moving on, I'd ask at least $22k for it in today's market. I think that sounds crazy, but so is the used car market in general and Toyota SUV/truck market is crazy during normal times. I have a 2006 version of your truck in a different color, same spec, same upgrades/maintenance, a few less miles. I don't think I could let mine go for that, cause I don't want any other truck...but I'm not towing a boat either.

I towed it with a GX470 before the Tundra. Certainly helps but the GX did okay and would be perfectly fine in MO.

Ok, I was under the impression you were comparing towing it with a 5.7 vs a 4.7....apples to smaller apples.
I don't think anyone disputes that the 4.7 will tow it just fine, but I think the OP is looking for something that will tow it with less effort/strain....which the 5.7 (or Cummins) will certainly do. I think re-gearing the 4.7 could make up much of that difference, but that's subjective to each individual and what they are comfortable with. And of course nobody has mentioned brakes... ;-)

Just be weary of that fuel pump. Why they chose the cp4 is beyond me. Fleece sells a conversion kit to go back to the proven cp3. A disaster kit is a must at the minimum.

I see. A lot of trailer tires are only rated for 65mph anyhow.

Have you compared Ridgeline price's to get a better idea?

Just kidding, I think everyone is on the mark. There was a one owner black double cab with similar miles that was listed at 18 and went quick here in Texas. If you want to sell it fast I would not go much over 20k. If you don't care how quick it sells throw 25k on it and market the hell out of it. Sweet truck and GLWS!

Man that is a Dime of a 1st Gen. Too bad you've got to sell it.

Today's market is nuts. Honestly, if you knew where to market that truck, $25k isn't a stupid starting price. You shouldn't have any trouble getting $22k for it I'd imagine.
