    I swapped my stock tires for 275/60R20 Pirelli Scorpion AT+. I chose that size because I didn't want to change from the stock size too much, but I wanted an AT tire. I chose the Pirellis because of reviews on Tire Rack, and I didn't necessarily need crazy off-road capability for the few times a year I drive into a field for an event.

    Too many, but not enough....
    So given all the issues we have seen on these 3rd gens, would actually driving it be a good first thing to be able to do on these? :crapstorm:

    I have been driving it. You didn't notice that my truck is dirty? ;) As far as issues go, I haven't had any with mine so far. The worst thing that has happened is the Apple Car Play failed to connect a few times, but that seems to have worked itself out. My Qi charger charges, even when listening to Pandora, no check engine lights, no turbo issues, it's a great truck as far as I'm concerned.

    Something small. Not the 3-d inlay but for 20.00 I think it looks pretty good

    Where did you order your inlays from? I'm really loving the look of the red TRD on the grill.

    Just rec. the Trd running boards today (unfortunately I’m working and can’t install till tomorrow). Did you use the factory installed bolts? Sparks Parts sent new bolts and wondering if they are longer. Was the install quick and easy? I’m up in New Hampshire and unfortunately will be working out in the cold temps tomorrow.

    Thanks man, you too. I am loving mine (and ignoring the dumb comments…especially cause I had a 2014 1794, which I loved also)

    I ordered mine through the dealer and having them do the install. Also have a bed step coming. Doesn’t seem like a automatic bed step is available - which kind of sucks.

    still waiting on the leveling kit and tires (35s)

    silly me I thought the 1794 came w auto bed step. Mine did but I honestly didn’t look closely at the sticker. Was probably an option.

    I’ve installed the TRD skid plate and the Toyota tonneau cover.
    Currently trying to order the colour matched door handles and blacked out window surrounds from Toyota.

    @kstateskier what % tint?

    The standard version does, but I got mine with the TRD Off-Road package. For whatever reason, you can’t get that package with the automatic steps and HUD \_0_/

    @EvilSteve is the Skid Plate worth it? I have TRD OR, and was a bit disappointed it didn’t come with that skid plate

    I purchased the predator steps with my 2022 Tundra and had the dealer install them. When they delivered the vehicle to me that was the very first thing I noticed, the gap between the main rail and the truck body is really small and is 100% a dirt collector. I have a cabin in northern MI where the roads are very sandy and I can see this gap becoming a problem for collecting sand, abrading the finish, and eventually corroding the metal. I feel so strongly about this that I'm going to swap out the pressure steps with the original running boards. Thankfully I had the wherewithal to ask them to put the originals in the bed of the truck.

    The interesting thing is I had these steps on my 2021 Tacoma and this wasn't much of an issue. Looks like a different size and position maybe rail on the Tacoma version.

    Agreed! 500+ miles on my new Tundra and I'm 100% satisfied with it so far. Coming from a 6 cylinder Tacoma with 18-19 mpg economy, having the bigger truck with the same economy but better performance is huge.

    The only people I've seen complaining about turbo issues are coming from people who haven't bought a new Tundra. My wife's 2016 3-series BMW has twin turbos, are does my 1967 Mooney (has only 1 turbo), and no issues with them. Do turbos wear out faster than other parts with bearings in them, yes because they operate in high rpm ranges and generate lots of heat.
