Every once in a while when I go to start the vehicle it will start and then die. It may do this several times at that moment. It goes months between this happening at all. 99% of the time the vehicle runs and starts flawlessly.

Any idea what this might be?

    Thanks guys.

I had same problem, bought new fuel pump but never installed it. Came to the conclusion injector/s were leaking. Added injector cleaner to gas and problem went away for 3 years. Just did it again so time for more. Not a big believer in snake oil but seemed to work. I would crank and it would run shorter and shorter durations each time. Come back hour later and fire right up. That’s my experience on 08 5.7 tundra.

Heard good things of seafoam. I haven't used it in my truck ( low mileage 2018, so didn't see need for it ) but I use it in my equipment.

Do you know if there is a diagram or something to show me where these grounds are located? Thanks!

    Found this.
No pictures to go with it though.

On a Toyota Tundra the locations on the ground are as follows. The battery to the internal fender, the battery to the block of the engine, right behind the mount of the motor and the engine rear behind firewall.

I used sea foam as well. Mixed on heavy side. But I would use any injector cleaner. At 450,000 miles, cleaning is probably not a bad idea every year now- hope it helps, that fuel pump is crazy expensive.
