I am wondering if there is something I can do to provide extra heat in the cab of the truck?

I have a 12v plug in heater, but that's not enough. My heat works fine, but I am a allergic to the recent cold snap, and Im hoping I can find something that would add more heat into the cab.

Maybe put some money into insulating the cab better. It should make your stereo sound better too LOL

    Evidently too hot for here?
I did not think it obscene at all or I would not have suggested it.

The truth is, our trucks take a while to come up to temp, and the big cab takes even longer to get comfortably warm.

My commute to work is about 4 minutes, so it’s toque, gloves, and a suitable jacket for this guy. And that’s after a few minutes of warm-up with the remote start.

I know thats an option I was hoping for a less expensive fix, but that would do it. Ill look around to see whats a good brand and something that possibly I could install.

    Thanks!

Ive thought of that, trust me.....

Ive thought of a 12v battery connected to an inverter for 110V and put a 750w heater on that.... It would be nice for a 1000w on board inverter that comes from the factory with 2plugs,

Drive in S4 until the truck is at operating temp and keep the heat all the way to max temp until it’s at operating temp as well. This will significantly help.

I don't live in a cold zone, not in the slightest, but when it IS cold (low to mid 20s is arctic cold for us and what it has been like the past few nights) I can remote start my truck and let it run for the full 10 min then get in and it feels fine. I've actually commented as to how quickly I feel hot in the cab so I think Tundra heaters work a little too well.
