    Hey everyone…

gonna try to document the rest of my build here. I have already done quite a bit to my truck

    Here goes…

    upload_2021-9-3_12-12-20.jpg
    first tundra 2017 sr5 2wd the… “I don’t need 4wd truck”

I did a few things after this here and there, fog lights, leather interior, wrapped steering wheel, changed out wheels and ordered some armor from Eric @state48overland

    upload_2021-9-3_12-24-12.jpg
    Oh happy day

    upload_2021-9-3_12-24-36.jpg

My truck sat like this for a while until i finally said I NEED 4wd

If your wanting a new vehicle its best to get your wife a new one first lol

    upload_2021-9-3_12-26-20.jpg

Soon after she decided i could trade mine in for a pro as well

After some searching and i was able to secure a lunar rock pro from my dealership. It was pretty nerve racking, i put money down on it sight unseen before i had seen a lunar rock on a tundra in person. The press pictures truly did not do the colors any favors

    upload_2021-9-3_12-28-42.jpg
    Back to stock she went

    Enter the new truck
    upload_2021-9-3_12-29-21.jpg
    upload_2021-9-3_12-29-57.jpg
Told myself I’m keeping this stock as long as possible… knowing i had a garage full of parts ready to go

    Resistance was futile

Back to my Gramlights and pocketed about 2800 for the stock bbs

After this i tried to do small stuff around the truck to keep my busy… that did not work

    upload_2021-9-3_12-38-3.jpg

I was very curious of my tss sensor would work with the bull bar on the grill, turns out it does about 98% of the time… I’ll occasionally get an error but it usually goes away within a few minutes

    upload_2021-9-3_12-39-59.jpg

The wife and i were pretty heavy into off-roading and camping at the time so we decided to make a literal life changing (unbeknownst to us at the time, you’ll see why )decision to get a rtt. We mounted it on her 4Runner because she had a rack at the time

    upload_2021-9-3_12-42-2.jpg

    upload_2021-9-3_12-42-43.jpg

We didnt like the feel of the rtt on her 4Runner as it felt even more underpowered and now top heavy so we decided to move it to the tundra.. rack ordered

We got married and my tundra even made it on the grooms cake

I continued to build up slowly adding things here and there like trigger controller, arb dual, more lighting etc etc
Then i stumbled upon a thread titled “the dirty seven club”
    I was more than intrigued

    Cut cut chop chop

    Enter the 37s

    upload_2021-9-3_12-50-59.jpg

Remember i said we made a life changing decision?

Well I’m pretty sure my first born son was conceived in that tent

Nice truck, might have to change your name to cctxlunar since you traded in the best looking color, lol.

Quick update haven’t really done much modding. Not from lack of trying just waiting on parts to come

ordered nitro gears back in early October and they have yet to ship, considering canceling and going with another gear company.
Rcv axles on the way soon hopefully and I also have dirt king fab boxed upper and lower control arms. Gonna be a fun weekend rebuilding the front end once it’s all in.

    upload_2022-2-4_12-24-19.jpg
our son came late October and I have really just been trying to spend as much time with him as he has really grow soooo fast. I guess it’s true what they say

How do you feel about the LP4's as ditch lights? I'm running them too and like them. I have mine angled pretty far out, do you have problems with light reflection off the hood?

I’m liking them as ditches from my POV. I feel sorry for anyone facing my truck when they are on though, probably like staring at the sun
I run them pretty far angled out as well since they give off such a wide beam pattern, haven’t really noticed them reflecting off the hood too much to be a bother but I have seen some raptor guys that run vinyl on the inside side lights to cut down on this
