I've seen several float through on ShopGoodwill.com week to week (all I remember is RH though) but you never know what you're gonna get there condition-wise. I stopped buying there for guitars, prices close out too high to justify the risk most of the time. Anything over $50-75 can easily be a wash or loss.

Honestly, if you really want one, keep an eye out on www.Reverb.com - check weekly. Here's a shortcut link to a suitable search for used-only, though I don't see a way to define it for LH/RH.

I'd probably look specifically for something 2000s or earlier, since the quality of BCR stuff has supposedly gone down the shitter over the last couple of decades, the Search Options let you pick/choose your decade.

If you need LH and wonder if one has ever showed up or how often, the Search there has a 'Sold only' option, but it often breaks things (their search kinda sucks). Actually, setting the decade may break it too.

Other options where you may find a used lefty languishing are Sweetwater.com / Guitarcenter.com / Musiciansfriend.com

Edit: Not trying to be an enabler, but ... it's never too late to learn, or to get back to playing. It's good for the brain and your mental health in general.

Thanks. I knew about Reverb. I didn't know about the 'sold only' option. I'll have to check that out.

I just drove home from work 25 miles through roads that averaged 4” deep of super heavy snow.
Aside from one left turn I tried to rush, they were as good as you can get and still be that wide. 265s would have cut through the mush much better, but wouldn’t look nearly as good.

Also, Vulgar Display of Power is peak 90s metal imho.

This morning a deputy I knew was killed on I-75 while trying to remove a ladder from the road. It really pisses me off that so many rednecks around here will throw shit in the bed of their truck and not secure it. I hit a ladder on the same stretch of interstate a few years ago in my Corolla. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I will drive on a flat and destroy my wheel rather than change a tire on the interstate. It's too dangerous.

    RIP Sgt. Chris Jenkins, LCSO.

    Erik, that’s terrible to hear.
My wife had a friend who was killed on the side of the road. Needless to say, she’s not a fan of being on the side of the road at all.

My tortoise took the place of punxsutawney phil this year. He showed up, realized Winter has some bite left, and buried himself last week.

I'm being a little snarky calling them hair metal (glam metal) because I don't like the "groove metal" title everyone sticks on them.

Seems like a significant style change between the two albums I mentioned, IMO, and I like Vulgar better, early 90s was their peak for me. When you stacked them up against other artists of the time, like maybe Acid Bath, I'm not sure how well it holds up. Sucks AB's bassist died to a 5x DUI or more drunk driver, it would've been interesting to see where they would've landed having a career as long as Pantera's.

This happened with an officer in Gainesville FL back when I was living there, some kids were goofing around and moved a soccer goal from a field onto a non-heavily-trafficked road. He got out to move it, car nailed him. Both cases, officer looking out for the people trying to save their own lives, lost their own.

They renamed the road after him. Hopefully they can find something similar to do to honor Sgt. Jenkins. Hell, you may be able to petition the county and/or state to do it.

I hate senseless deaths. I realize we all have an expiration date we can't control but stuff like this bothers me. I'm sure they will do something to honor him. The last time they lost a deputy I was a Freshman in HS and one of our classmates went nuts and shot and killed a deputy. I'm pretty sure the stretch of I75 where Jenkins died today is named after the deputy that was shot back then.

The snow/ice lands on the tarp and not on the window. So when you walk back out to your vehicle, you pull the tarp and don't have to scrape.
BUT THEN YOU HAVE A MESSY, WET, COLD TARP TO CONTEND WITH.

.... If only we had a big open box on the back of the vehicle to put something like a wet tarp in. Like, you know, a bed. Oh, wait ....

Rained all day yesterday. Got super wet here and some roads started to flood. By noon it was 35 degrees. By 6pm it was 32 degrees. Last night was somewhere around the teens in temps.

Started sleeting/snowing last night on top of the 1/4" layer of ice. Should be a fun ride into work this PM. Lol

Anyways, I worked on cleaning guns most of last night. Worked on pe-paws sears and roebuck model 3t. Got everything stripped, and cleaned. Mended the hand guard.

Chose white glue as the fix so the repair stands out. It's part of the history of pe-paws gun.

Looking for reccomendations on who I can send the broken barrel cover to, to have 3d printed a new one. I can't find any online.

This three piece, formerly a one piece.

I'm more of a giver than receiver....

The Weather Channel is saying we got 10" of snow, but I feel like it's closer to 8". Maybe I just have big hands. IDK. :D

The roads this morning were just as snowy as they were yesterday afternoon. INDOT will say it's from the overnight snowfall and drifting, but it's really a savage mismanagement of resources...or an unprecedented staffing shortage. Hard to say which from here, but I've driven 100 miles in this bullshit over the last two days and seen one plowtruck.

Snow is over for now and the temps are continuing to drop. The snow that's on the ground is heavy as fuck and really sucks to shovel. I reckon I've only got a few more years of shoveling and I'll buy a snowblower/thrower/whatever.

There was more traffic this morning and it was definitely amateur hour.
I sincerely hate how our country has resigned itself to lowering all standards to the least common denominator. If you're scared of driving in the snow, stay the fuck home. It's for your safety and mine. ALSO, if you're scared, go single-file with the rest of the slow traffic. Jerking your Grand Cherokee in front of me because I'm going faster than you is going to earn you a bunch of health issues and me a bunch of legal issues.

Wish I could help on that one ... but I'll admit when I don't know something and this is one of those times. I've got my grandpa's old .22 Winchesters (67, 69A), but outside of that, nothing more than 30 years old and nothing with wood stocks. I've had those two in cases since before he passed, they're more of an heirloom than anything. Never had to get any parts made/replaced and as much a waste as it may seem to some I'd never shoot w/them.

Damn truck threw a misfire code. I knew something was wrong because it felt like driving on pebbles in the slush on the ground. It was really the engine vibrating from the misfire. Never good for the CATs. Appears I got water in the tank again on this freezing rain miserable as hell day.

Tossed some DEET in the tank and put in $40 of gas. Runs a little better after I drove it a few miles.

I think it's the seal around the top. Its probably completely dried out with open gaps and when it rains, the rain between the bed and the cab get on top of the tank is what I'm guessing. I'll try to take a look to see if it's wet under there when I get home today from work.
