I picked up a set of OEM tow mirrors for a good price. My question is would anyone put them on even though you are not currently towing anything?

You bet! So much better! Had them put on before I took ownership.

Much better view of what's behind you and I also use mine to see the parking spot lines when I park

    I tow
I like the dual mirrors on my OEM Tow Mirrors
Top one is automatic and can be adjusted
    Bottom one is manually adjusted

Mine are the heated version and manual extend

Initially I thought I would prefer the smaller close to cab mirror, but I don't think I would go back.

Tow mirror can do things other mirrors can't...most of those things are good.

    Yep

I have the lower mirror set so I can see part of my rear tire and the bottom of my trailer tires...good for backing up and when turning in tighter areas
I have a long bed with the 48 foot turning radius and a 17 foot trailer so I like to see what is going on back there.

I’m looking at getting a set. Just can’t decide which ones to get. Any recommendations?

Same, I like to make sure that rear tire isn't wobbly or anything and the bottom mirror also helps you with smaller vehicles driving close to that blind spot. I also have blind spot mirrors stuck to the larger mirror.

Thanks all. I have a couple more jobs in the big city (parking issues) then I will put them on. Store away the OEM MGM shorties.

I rarely tow anything but I like having turn signals on the mirrors. Something that Toyota decided that I didn't need as standard equipment on a 2019 SR-5.

My son works in the auto glass industry. It took him less than 30 minutes to install the tow mirrors.

I bought mine from Boost auto parts. You can customize them and they are great. Autofold option, flood or puddle lights, Sequential turn or regular turn signal, blind spot warning etc

Do you notice any excessive vibration that others have mentioned?

Haven't heard that about the Boost mirrors. Normally its the more affordable mirrors off Amazon/eBay that vibrate and most say its due to the skinny rubber gasket the mirrors came with. I've heard if you swap the oem gasket to the tow mirrors it can help. Just compare the new gasket to your old and see if they look different. You don't want to crank the mirrors too tight since it is a plastic housing.

Not vibration whatsover. This mirrors are worth every penny. Dont save on options, go all in. Both top and bottom heated. I didnt go for autofold which i regret a bit but hey, cant be right always. I can live without autofold but would have been nice.

Mine are sitting in the garage waiting to be installed. I need a warm day on a day that I am off to tackle that project as well.
