Did anyone else get the paint protection package with your 2022? It came with my truck even though I didn’t want it, but all I got was a tube of some kind of paste. Is that all I got for $379??? Someone please tell me no.

 

Depends which version cover you want.
For the 6'6" bed, the HD and SE versions are available now. The 270 and 180 versions are not.

I think that refers to the clear film protection on the hood, bumper, mirrors, etc.

 

Waiting for the TRD running boards from sparks, I purchased some rust proofing spray as thought I'd rust proof the brackets to the running boards before I install, the brackets in the photo looks like they have been rust proofed, did the brackets come that way or did you apply. Thanks

 

I have these trd running boards coming from Sparks Parts, I ordered bolts with the boards as sparks recommended, did you need the optional bolts?, some owners state that the bolts are there already?

 

That's how I received the side rails, all I did was install them with existing bolts!

 

Love'em, or hate'em...Rough Country is about to release a 3.5" lift for the 2022 Tundra.

Also...if you look closely at the pic...it appears they're close to rolling out aftermarket step rails too. They've fitted their aftermarket steps on this truck.

BedRug does NOT have an ETA on their 2022 Tundra products.

 

Question, i have seen the bed rug on many product videos & never even knew it existed. Is it something truly functional or does it have drawbacks?

 

This is right. Mine came with it but they 3 levels of it. Each level includes the previous options features and adds to it. The second and third level have the door cup and door edge protectors. The third level includes the hood protector and from what I can see around the lower body of the truck.

 

Good question. I’ve never owned a bed rug. Considered one on my last tundra but I had it lineX’d instead. But I again considered one and asked them availability and was told no ETA

 

It looks like there is an OEM Badge Overlay kit to black out the emblems on the Limited trim.

Toyota P/N is PT948-34223-02. It's pricey but includes all of the needed overlays to black out the emblems INCLUDING the "T" on the front grill.

I hope they make the individual overlay for the front grill "T" available soon. No way am I buying the entire set for a single overlay.

 

I used the bolts on the truck. Sparks had recommended bolts but I did not order them with the truck having them already.

 

I don’t even have my truck yet but I’ve already ordered mats, steps, wheels, and tires. Tell me I’m not alone haha

 

I did not have the Tundra even a week and ordered Toyota bed cover, side-rails, bed mat, tailgate letters, and mud guards. We ride motorcycles and when we get a new bike we call it adding farkles.

We enjoyed farkling the Tundra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Where did you order your letters, bed Mat and mud guards from?

Bed mat and mud guards were from Toyota and letters were from TVD.

 

Last farkle to add to the Tundra for a while will be Tundra letters on the front bumper tomorrow.
