I took every piece off. Just a few screws and pull tabs, not too much to it. The main thing is to be patient when spraying and let it cure for atleast a couple days. I let it cure for 30 hours or so and when i went to put the grill back into the surround, some of the paint peeled on the edge because it wasn't cured yet.

To the guys with a pedal commander -

do you still press “tow haul” when towing? Or do you change setting on your pedal commander?

Is there any conflicting programming - does the pedal commander make tow haul redundant?

They do very different things. A throttle control adjusts the responsiveness of the pedal while tow/haul changes shift points. I'd still use tow/haul if you are actually pulling anything of weight.
One person mentioned that they use tow/haul and then turn the sensitivity down via throttle controller when towing their horses so its a smoother take off.

    Hope that helps

    Too many, but not enough....
I am considering doing this to my chrome surround and bulge and maybe the panels directly under the headlights too since those take alot of abuse. I already have 1 small chip that pisses me off everytime I look at it.

Do you do the regular plasti dip first then the glosser?

Had a very small amount but hadn't installed the drain tubes before running it through a car wash. The only issue so far is there seems to be some kind of air pressure issue inside the cover that is blowing the provided bulkhead seal off of the top of the bed behind the cab. Not sure if there is an issue with the one sided tape on the foam seal not adhering to the spray on bedliner.

I'd recommend it. I clean off the chrome with alcohol and get a nice surface it to stick to just like regular spray paint. I did 5-6 coats of plastidip and 3 coats of glossifier after. 20-30 minutes between each coat.

Tow / Haul also changes the throttle response making it much more sensitive to input. I use it when driving in the hills to help with throttle response going up, and engine braking coming down. I use it when I Tow, I also use it when I want to Haul ass.

Nice! My Dad also had one around the same time frame. He was stationed in SD USAF and still talks about taking it up in the Black Hills trout fishing and wheeling. Says the same thing too 'never should have sold it'.

Anyone else have to glue the diodes to the housing for the Meso dome lite? As soon as I pushed the a selector button it would pop off. Had it clipped in there good but it wouldn’t stay.

Just got home from the Dealership. My Tundra is all fixed. If you didn't see my last post, the Main Harness had to be replaced due to a damn squirrel chewing on the Harness on the passenger side firewall. WARNING to all. Make sure your insurance covers rodent damage. The total price was...$9876.24:eek2: The break down is Labor $5984 Parts $3530.38 Tax $361.86. That was crazy expensive and luckily, I only had to pay my $500 deductible. I hope I never have to have this done again. Once again, make sure you are covered.

Could you please send a link for the Rad rubber fender liners? I just took my right front liner out because it was torn and just hanging loose.

Check into a 0 ded. On comp., doesn't raise premiums much at all. Great for hail, deer, etc.
