3rd Gen Accessory Thread

Thank you, look at the website as we speak, just trying to decide on colours. I really like the red on the black, but I’m not sure about mine, white TRD OR. Was thinking maybe black for the tailgate and maybe white for the tundra on the front, red or white for the TRD on the grille. Opinions?

 

Black for tailgate, white for "tundra" on front, red for "trd". All the default trd logos are usually red so it will blend nicely. My opinion lol

 

That’s exactly what I’m leaning towards, thanks for the input. Thinking about maybe white for the grille accent stripes as well.

 

This is Rich from TVD. Please know that if you don't like the original colors that you selected after applying the decals just let us know and we'll send a replacement set in a different color at no extra cost.

 

I appreciate the heads up, I can’t imagine I would ever ask for you to do that but you’ve definitely earned my business and referrals. What “red” do you and oxlsu40 recommend for the TRD on the grille?

 

The "red" color I got matches the TRD logo on the wheels perfectly.

 

Sorry to keep bugging you, do you remember scarlet red, cardinal red, red, or red orange?

These will be dropping soon. The photo is the TRD Pro grille, but the TRD grille "honeycomb" is the same so they will fit those grilles as well.

Front end looks great! Is yours a black SR5 with the TSS package? I have a black SR5 coming in at the end of the month. Can you post some more pics of yours?

 

Simple mod but effective. Chrome delete on the interior. haha.

 

Yea it's a SR5 with the TSS package. I didn't want a spec of chrome and this was the only option at the time. I added the raised matte black letters on the tailgate as well.

I agree. I was nervous about the black (didn't get to choose color with mine) but your truck makes me stoked!

 

What tint did you do on it?

 

15% matched all around, but the back windows and rear seem to be much darker, maybe 5-10%.

 

Hey rich, do you think the "dark green" color would match the army green well?

 

No, the Fir Tree Green is the closest we have to Army Green.

 

Has anyone source a full size cap for the back of their 2022 Tundra?
I have always fitted caps to my trucks but cannot find them on the usual manufacturers sites as yet.
