I have a 19 tundra sr5 with a 4.6. I have no tow mode. Would using a pedal commander benefit me in away while towing my camper? As of now it pulls it fine once I get up and going but drops fuel mileage between 6 and 8 miles a gallon.

    Welcome from NY.

Did you install a tranny cooler? 2018 was the last year for that.

I don't believe PC would help.

PC does not add power, it allows you to adjust and dial in throttle input based on what feels good to you. Towing MPG is always much lower, normal.

MY 19 vs pre is a mood point because he doesn't have the tow package anyway

Cool, the 4.6 without tow never had a cooler regardless of year. That was my point.

Pedal commander will dull or amplify the throttle signal, that's all it does.

I'd want a cooler if I'm towing a camper, it's cheaper than a new transmission.

I turn mines off when I Tow last time I didn't turn it off it overheated the transmission
I also have a 4.6 with the pedal commander
