Hey guys I'm finally getting ready to replace my old spyder headlights. I came across these connections on the wiring harness and I'm wondering they are and if it's ok to leave them like that or tape them off. The spyders we're connected with a ballast. They appeared to be some type of wiring tap. They are connected into my hi and low beams I believe.

Tape off. Don't want moisture in there.

I would remove the taps if you can, brush on some liquid electrical tape over the exposed wire, then wrap with tape.

Thanks.. Now I'm getting confuse with these connections on the new alpharex rex pros. It seems my factory conenctions won't fit into the connectors for the alpharex. Not understanding where the side marker and turn singal supposed to go per the alpharex website instructions.

The old turn signal blub goes into the socket that's covered by white paper from the factory. The other connectors fit, but some may be a bit tight.

Thanks, I got the left hooked up, I had to remove the connector that came with the side marker on the arex and then installed it on the factory one. My high beams are not working at the moment but I haven't installed the drl harness yet l, maybe that could be the issue. Will do the right and try to finish the harness.

Ok got them hooked up, just want to make sure that I'm supposed to hook up the fuse tap harness to the red battery terminal and the black can it hook up to a ground or should it go to the black battery terminal? Oh wow check out pic.. also not seeing start up sequence or high beam.
Update actually didn't hook up a connector from the harness to the L headlight but now they are both amber on the drl strip

Either do what @audiowize with liquid tape or get a depinning tool (its like $10 for the 4 set off Amazon) and depin the connector and slide heat shrink over the wires and pop the pins back into connector.
