No clue. This one was a Platinum. Thankfully they’re color matching the grill, mirror caps, handles, etc. I had to replace all that on the 2019 Platinum.

I’m waiting on my car guy to call me back, hopefully Monday, so I can put our Highlander on hold until some more details get released about this new Sequoia. Mainly pricing. I’m thinking a premium packaged SR5 TRD would suite us just fine.

It’s actually Plano, but I’m going to call tomorrow and see if they offer something like that. I’d like to see it in person and the State Fair is in the fall and not worth going to. I wanna see it now LOL!

Alright cool. Wasn't sure who you were talking to or about. I stated as much, but with your posts timing and my comment about diesels... That subject did end up locking a 3rs gen thread. I was just trying to clear the air if it was me.

Thanks for the pics from the auto show. Looks good.

Platinum, Windchill Pearl. Not only was it locked, but the windows were all tinted enough to really prevent seeing the interior.
Here’s the rest of the pics I took, along with a video I took trying to see the roof.

Nice to see no chrome trim on the Platinum. All black. Very nice.

Agreed. The Capstone does have the chrome though. Along with white interior. I can’t imagine why we’d want to pay more for that.

Shame the sound deadening is only available in that trim.

Doesn't seem like it. Per their press release.

"To help provide an even quieter cabin, Capstone is the only Sequoia grade to feature acoustic glass in the front doors for more exterior sound deadening."

Hopefully TFL measures the sound in a Capstone vs. Non Capstone to see just how much that glass helps.

Oh ok, I read the same thing and I took it as the windshield has it. Then the Capstone would have it in the front windows, windshield and extra sound deadening. I guess we’ll see

Do you want full time 4WD/AWD or nah? Capstone has white leather which I have never been a fan of

It's the TRD Pro for me, off road chops plus the added towing tech. I only use 4HI when there's sketchy surfaces though I do miss the full time symetrical AWD from my Subaru Ascent

After I saw a YouTube video of this Platinum, I’m considering changing my Pro order to Platinum if it has the panorama roof as an option.

I'm leaning towards limited Sequoia, seems you can get most options plus rear locking diff with off road package.

I'm leaning towards picking up the Platinum. Color would be decided by my wife.

Personally I like the white one.

LX 600 for me when it’s time to replace my gen 2. Sadly the gen 3 does not fit my daily driver preferences.

Understandable, but with a growing family I really prefer the 2nd row captains chairs for 3rd row access with car seats.

I am leaning to acquire a new hybrid Sienna AWD at some point and add a lift kit/wheels/AT tires. That should cover my family transportation needs. The LX would be my ‘nice’ car then. Decisions, decisions..

I want the TRD Pro, but continue to be confused by some of the options that Toyota seems to leave off this trim. It will be interesting to see if 2nd row will get heated/ventilated seats like the Platinum & Limited or if the Pano roof will be available as an option. My current vehicle is without basic items at the $66k price point like memory seats, puddle lights or lighted visors

I was considering one as well, like the exterior styling but I can’t get over the lack of a panoramic sunroof. Also the interior dash, to me, seems like such a departure from Lexus. The last 2 generations had great looking dashes for their time.
