So no surfing in a wetsuit? Waves are supposedly better in the winter, aren't they?

I agree this whole covid thing just messes up plans.

I was supposed to go work out there on the Gerald Ford Aircraft Carrier, but everything is on hold right now.

    I haven't been.

I also haven't heard a lot of good things about either.

I had a weeklong MTB trip to the Front Range planned for August 2020.
The apocalypse put the kibosh on that pretty quickly.

Not a bad idea but it’s so damn hard to get the boys to do anything. They just want to fight each other inside the house.

This. But yeah, water would be good. We should be in palm desert with all the pools cause they are mostly empty and heated. But I’m not in control of the decision making and we are likely still infectious so it’s all my wife’s family politics right now.

beach isn’t a terrible idea. I can try. I was shut down on my plan to get them out for a bike ride.

All I remember from being a kid is wanting to do what my dad was doing. Not telling my dad to F off. Shrug.

My self and the boys do better separately, my sanity first, but then for some reason the one listens 100% better when it’s just one on one.

Perhaps you can at least put some scratches in the unused play structure?

My bro in law lives pretty close to Marysville. So if they have parts of interest for me or you guys I can pick up next haul which I think is in one week.

Maybe we could work out some kind of collaboration kind of like how they do rescue puppies. They hand off puppies to people willing to drive them to the next person driving them to their destination.

TG2 did that frequently but insisted on not packing heat.. Strange.

If we can get it to my bro in law’s farm, getting to palm desert is easy and from there to SD or you not too hard. Or freight from Seattle. I can handle that part. Sounds like it’s worth our time. I want dibs on the fender flares :)

He and I were actually taking about junkyards on our way down. We can’t stop once loaded but he has plenty of vehicles to retrieve parts. It’s been on my list to do.

Can't say I've even heard of this happening in this neck of the woods...guess I missed it. I do remember there being so much snow in Boston, there was no place to put it back at that time.

Definitely illegal in Texas. A license plate frame violates the law if it “impairs the readability of the name of the state where the vehicle is registered, or the letters or numbers of the license plate at any time".

None of the pre-2003 trucks are wired for mirror heat best I can tell Dave. Unless you have your own wiring you plan on doing. Be cool to have it come on when you turn the truck to defrost to eliminate the button. @empty_lord :boink:

Add a long bed to the parts list. Also a silver sky non-flare pass front fender.

Also add four of the little chrome low profile fender flares. Think you have some on your truck Dave. You da man!

You can have my flares for sure, assuming I can pull them without damage.

    I’ll add the others.

I was going to use a switchpros for mirror heat or maybe the OEM button I have if it fits and I can figure out the pins. Yeah it’d have to be custom wire to the door and I’ll probably swap connectors to a 5 or 6 position unless the 6’s I have work as is. In the PNW you kinda run mirror heat all the time, even if not doing defrost, cause outside is so misty and cold. Not that my truck is planning to spend time in the PNW right now but we do contemplate.

I missed something critical. Are you parting out a Tundra?

I told @jpink he needs to buy this Double Cab Bed. Hard to find one anymore and doesn't appear to be damaged. Plus it's only an hour away.
