Ordered on Black Friday and got delivered today, haven’t drove it yet so I have no review yet.

 

Tailgate lock installed and it's pretty nice. So simple and so functional.

 

No offense but these look horrendous. But if you like it thats all that matters.

 

Chrome delete outside replaced with color matching parts. Only thing I had left was the lower bumper which is that weird grey color. Deer committed suicide on me early Christmas morning with about $15k dollars of damage. Just got it back from the body shop and had to replace the front bumper because it got cracked. Body shop painted the new one the matching color of the truck.

I had to front the bill for the chrome bumper cap getting powder coated but insurance finally agree to pay me back on that.

 

Let's see the new bumper! And how do I go about commissioning that deer?

Will do. Should be here in the next few days. I've read nothing but good things and expect them to outshine my halogens.

Might pick up a cheap pair of led bulbs to tide me over until I decide on which replacement housings to get. It's too bad the stock led headlights dont have amber drls. Thats honestly the main thing drawing me to the morimotos. But that price though...

 

Did you get the lights with back lights ?

 

No, wanted plug and play so went without. Hopefully I can pull them out the front and avoid removing the liners. Mine are zip tied in since there's been some cutting on the front fender area already to clear the tires.

 

The cheap ass plastic wood looked like it came from Walmart , but if you like it that’s all that matters

 

Agreed, I don’t like the plastic junk either but wrapping the wheel in a loose leather condom is an interesting alternative.

 

Just ordered the auxbeam led headlight bulbs to hold me over after I install the SS3 fogs.

For less than $30 it'll be interesting to see how they do in the halogen reflector housings.

I have the factory LED fogs installed , I’m curious how much brighter the SS3 fogs are? I like the back light option also.

 

Since we have the JBL system you will need to use a DSP if you plan on keeping your H/U. There are two types used the

Rockford Fosgate DSR1 or the AXXESS DSP. The problem is trying to find them. I got my RF DSR1 from a local shop last week. There were some online vendors that had them incoming this week. Not sure about the Axxexx. (local shop wanted $2000 for complete install including all parts & amp.

Black 1794 chrome delete....favorite mod is C4 bumper and baja design lights which I get a lot of comments on.

 

James is great just sold him my dsr1 since I went with a new Kenwood headunit. Tore everything out labled JBL ...added new speakers amp and sub woofer. Also added sound deadening throughout. makes a huge difference...

I've done 3/1 lift, 34" tires, suspension, molle panels, revolver tonneau cover, front bumper shims, wheel spacer, white to red interior lights, undercarriage cat alarm, steel skid and cat theft deterrent plate, rear diff breather, color match side mirror covers, amp research steps, but my favorite and most useful by is the wireless center console phone charger. Go figure.
