Falling or drifting snow? - check
Wind gust exceeding 35 mph? - check
Visibility quarter mile or less? - check

Its officially a blizzard. My snow totals just went up to 18 inches.

The wind chill tomorrow morning is supposed to be 5 degrees. For Tennessee that's really cold. I'm supposed to get my hair cut at 0900 and then I'm thinking about going to the gun show. I haven't been in years.

Wish I had that dash cam installed. Tomorrow's drive will be epic and would put Noah's daily drives to shame. :D

Although, I don't think I could outdo his dad. lol

Yeah, like, it would've been really nice to swap the alternator in the truck last weekend. I'm not looking forward to being on the cold concrete of the garage swapping it out tomorrow. I'm supposed to wake up at 10am to tour a local middle school. Then have some other crap for the oldest kid booked at 3pm. Somehow need to stuff my truck work in between. I'm going to check the torque on the valve covers while I'm at it tomorrow. 53 inch lbs, I think? I'll hafta go confirm.

Hmmm.... these just popped up locally. "New take-offs" with 1500 miles on the 265/65/17 Toyos. $600 Tempted to buy just for the tires. They wouldn't get me to my end goal of 275/70ish, but I think I could break-even re-selling the wheels and TPS.

Not bad, I’m sure there’s a big enough market to drop the wheels pretty easy, maybe start at 400, and take what you can get

are those taco or tundra wheels?

So much shit to do this weekend. I'm going to hold off. If they're still around on Monday, I'll take it as a sign.

Taco sport 17's. I look at wheels too much. My least favorite of the designs. New sports get a different (I think improved) style.

offroad and pro on 16's (unless pro has changed recently?)
    sport and limited on 17's

I suspect a move to 17's across the board in 2024 given tire choices? Not sure.

takes me 2 hours to clear the snow. Low snow by shovel or deeper snow by machine - always takes 2 hours. If we got no snow all winter I'd be fine.
Snow belongs on the mountain, not in my yard.

Yeah, I just noticed that @potoghi has some on his here running 285/70 KO2s and @jimf909 over here (didn't EL have these for a while too?). I think it works well with the darker colored paints. I think it'll look 'off' on white AC trucks like ours.

I used to really love shovlin' in college. I'd do it for fun. I'm deprived (and strange).
Truck on the street near me is AC, stick, taco offroad wheels. They look a bit sunken in to me. Probably got 'em cheap though. I consider your truck too special for these.

I mean, the BFG Long Trail T/A tours aren't exactly looking too manly anyway IMO. They're meatier than those Toyos and ride great, but ...

I think I may just take the plunge and get new tires. I've been stuck in analysis paralysis for months now, between the Wildpeaks and KO2. That $1,200 price tag has just been haunting the shit out of me. I know the second I pull the trigger, I'm going to see some nice silver/brushed alloy/brushed gold sport wheels in my size for like $800 3 months later.

Tires are one of those stupid ass things that once you mount them, they lose 1/3 of their value. It sucks.

If we only lived closer…. And I guess if we were on the same size wheel.

I really can’t stomach new tire prices either. Except for the minivan and Nokians. AT’s are so easy to find.

Man, that was close. I thought for sure @daveeasa was going to swoop in a add these to his hoarde. :D :D :D

The fact you call it a 'grass patch' and not a 'yard' says everything we need to know.

This looks like a rollerskate with those corolla tires on there.

GOOD MORNING! It's zero degrees at my house and all I can think about is my GD electric bill skyrocketing as the furnace just runs and runs and runs.
May have to finally pull the trigger on new high-efficiency windows this year. That's going to hurt so badly.
