Interior trim..

Hello, I’d like to know how to remove the pictured piece of trim.
I want to mount my ham radio on it.

 

Look toward the front of you the panel where it goes under the dash. There is a plastic screw on each side. Remove those and you should be able to work the panel off.

 

Okay thanks. I might have figured that but the one I tried to remove was just spinning not unthreading.
What is behind this ? I don’t wanna set off an airbag lol..

 

Unscrew the plastic screw while pulling outward. Those 'screws' strip easily. After that it just pulls off.
