    Ok…thanks for the pic.

I was gonna pull the trigger on these since they were more affordable but went OEM through sparks instead (shipping prices aside).

waiting on it to arrive with FedEx

I am very tempted to just get the one via Toyota. It's just that it's like $400 more smh.

If you can wait a month or two there should be a lot of aftermarket options to choose from.

I never go through the car wash with my vehicles, or use a brush on the vehicle for that matter. Wand wash only [pre-soak, wax, spot free rinse], concerned with scratches on the paint [just my opinion on the matter]. With a wand wash, rarely did I have any leakage through the diamondback cover.

    That looks awesome!
Do you happen to have the part number for the running board?

OEM bed mat is supposed to be delivered today. Looking forward to it! One of my "must have" accessories given how slick the composite bed is.

Ordered from spark parts. Not sure of part number because they sent me the wrong ones. I ordered predators but received these bad boys and love ‘em.

Also still on the hunt for a T logo front grill overlay that will fit the 22. It's the only piece of chrome on my Sport and I cannot wait to see it leave.

I'm with you. Looking for the following items

    1. How to replace or black out the Toyota Grill logo
    2. Change out Tundra Door Chrome to black
    3. Change out tailgate 4x4 to black

    Any insights?

Door logos and 4x4 might be the same size as previous gen. I would measure and find out but they might work and there are plenty of them online.

Funny how Toyota created different "chrome problems" for each trim:
    • SR: Probably the least amount of chrome. The only chrome is the front "T" badge and the "4X4" tailgate emblem.
    • SR5 TRD Off-Road: We have to deal with the chrome mustache & rear bumper "inserts" plus chrome 18" wheel trim but get paint matched door handles & blacked out emblems (except for the front "T")
    • Limited TRD Off-Road: Brushed front mustache, Chrome "T", chrome rear bumper inserts, chrome door handles, & chrome emblems, but you get all black rims (though their 20's).
    • Platinum: Hardly any chrome except for a few badges ("T" & "Platinum") & center caps. "Brushed" front mustache.
    • 1794: An old man, chrome lover's dream truck.
Would've been nice if you selected a package like "TRD Off-Road" and it was same across the trims.

This might’ve be discussed already sorry if I missed it. I’m about to pick up my predator steps. Am I gonna need additional bolts or are can the ones already on the truck be used?

You will not need extra bolts. Once you crawl under the truck and line the steps up, you'll see what bolts/holes the steps will align to. Pretty easy install.

Pro-tip: Only back out the 2 outer-most bolts about half way. The steps "hang" off of them during install to make the install easier. You'll see where on the brackets. Those mounting positions are bolt "slots" instead of holes.

The TUNDRA and Limited door emblems appear to be carrier over from the previous gen. The SR5 and 4x4 emblems are new. I will have inlay decals for these very soon!

Sweet. I actually just ordered the TRD grill overlay this morning. Any plans for a front T emblem overlay?

Do the Predator tube steps provide any protection from parking lot door dings?

Finally got my 2inch front level kit installed. Can’t tell a whole lot of difference but it will allow me some room to go bigger on the tires. B7864CE0-E4BD-4AD3-8866-7FF90226B037.jpg A7C98CC9-34D5-44FF-8BAC-04317B45A251.jpg

Nice! I’m guessing you did the RC leveling kit? Did you do it yourself? What tire size you going with? Are you sticking to the stock 18” rims or going aftermarket?

I’m thinking of doing the same. Your truck and mine are nearly twins except I’m running a DC vs the CM.

I've ask this question now several times an no one seems to answer but can you tell me if the rear of the truck self leveled (if you have the rear lift system) when you installed the front lift or did you have to adjust the level sensors in the rear airbags?

I actually got the kit from a shop here in Texas called Blackjack Speed Shop. They fabricate the part themselves and do the install in about 3 hours with alignment included. I hope to eventually get some Nitto ridge grapplers, 35’s with some Fuel rims once the budget allows.

YOU HAVE TO MANUALLY ADJUST IT, it does not auto sense it

Please for the love of god get something besides Fuel rims. 1) every vehicle has them 2) they are some of the heaviest wheels on the market- make for poor mpg's and poor handling. Fuel wheels cost way too much for what they are

Not yet an owner but from my close-up look at the rear air suspension at the auto show and other comments on this site, I think the rear height sensor only detects and adjusts for distance between the rear axle and the frame above it. Therefore, changing the pitch of the frame compared to the rear axle slightly by installing a front leveling kit would essentially result in no change in auto adjustment of the rear suspension.

However, if someone wanted to put some additional height in the rear also, there is an adjustment on the rear air sensor arms that allows this. Another member (without a leveling kit) already adjusted his rear suspension height this way.

Here's a pic of that sensor arm with the adjustment slot.PXL_20220116_192034526.jpg

Ok thanks thats what I was thinking too and have actually adjusted it thinking it would raise and Stay in that position but have only gotten about 3/4" higher in the rear. I did adjust the rod all the way in the up position though so maybe there is a sweet spot somewhere in there to get the highest position..?
