Hello everyone, my 5.7 CM tundra is coming up on 130k and as a preventative measure I’m looking into replacing water pump. So far I have the water pump, tensioner and idler pulley, serpentine belt, and thermostat. Is there anything else I should be replacing while I have it apart? Also should the water pump pulley be replaced or should I just swap the old pulley onto the new pump? Finally I have 2 gallons of the 50/50 pink cap oem anti freeze should that be enough or will I need more? I intend to flush out all the old stuff. Any tips are appreciated TIA

I’ll be doing the same thing shorty also. I’m adding a new radiator, plastic end tanks go bad in the heat that is southern hell. Upper and lower hoses with new clamps and possibly a clutch for the clutch fan.

I just did the same. No need to replace the WP pulley IMO. My truck took 1-1/2 gallons of coolant.

Thanks, and yeah I figured but wanted to make sure all my bases were covered, just so I don’t have to go back in and redo any work
