hi i have a 2007 tundra SR5 5.7L. my remote stopped working on a rainy day. I went to a locksmith and we tried the remote and it works. He tells me what's wrong with the truck. do you know what it could be? I have already checked the fuses. In my country it is difficult to find someone who can solve this problem for me.

Might have something to do with the remote receiver. Im not sure on the older models but the 2012+ have the receiver in the shark fin on top of the cab. Sounds like the seal leaked and water got in there and cause a short. Maybe someone else knows where the receiver is on older models, should be on top of the cab somewhere.

If you have installed LED lights anywhere like 3rd brake light, interior, they can cause interference with the remote. If the truck has them, remove them and test, you may find the remote starts does in fact work. Check or replace the battery in the fob as well.
