Nice looking rack system. Too bad it doesn't work with a tonneau cover

    Nada yet.
    Painted the mirror caps.

3 coats of duplicolor primer, followed by 3 coats of exact match 040 duplicolor and 3 coats of clear. Came out real nice. The caps were really easy to remove, used a small trim removal tool in the corner near the a-pillar and they popped right out.

Neighboring switch was what I was going for. I have a 2014. Was thinking the dome or cargo switch?

Got the bar installed, works great. Haven't figured out where to tap in the back light yet though!

I had it removed. The SC was brand new. My buddy has had his installed for much longer, and is much harder on it then I ever was, and he has no problems with it.

Well, used the light blue wire on the cargo switch, no go. The the door(dome) switch doesn't have any light blue wires. Any suggestions?!

Hard to tell without seeing on truck. Both look good. Perhaps u Photoshop guys can help. There's also sites where u pick rim and it shows on colored truck might help. Sometimes it's the other things on your truck that can make or break a decision. See I've always been a no fender flare or chrome guy. When I got my bed cover, shims n shackles, spacers, and tires, it was the bed cover chrome billet accents plus the pros of protection that made me decide to run flares. It looked great without. But it was the bed cover accents that tied in perfectly with the flares that gave me the final go. I'm all about function but if it don't look good aesthetically it won't go on. Like I said I liked it without flares too. Imo it makes it look a little meaner and beefier with the flares. That plus the benefits or pros of protecting side of truck from rocks, mud, and sticks. However, if I didn't have the bed cover with little chrome billets in linex to match the steps I never would have put on the flares. Bc I had that already I'm happy I went with them, provides protection, matches perfect and ties everything together. Moral of the story, sometimes it's what else you got on your truck that can make or break a decision when basing said decision solely on looks. Hope this helps.20170604_141217.jpg

Not exactly a positap but something like that. Pretty sure the connection was good, but I'll try again. Thanks for the help. By the way, it's the cargo on/off that has the light blue wires.

Are you going off road at all?

Reason I ask...20s will be rough off road and a 275/55 tire has little to no sidewall. If you're not going off road then I like the top ones a little more

This morning I finally added the Toyota center console tray. It was an easy install and it help me clear up my cup holder from change and other small items. 5a6588cd3fbcc11e89673f6c1c71ff41_99bdb6dc9917a91db77ab54ecbcabecd4e842b7e.jpg

So I've had to begin the disassembly of my truck... even though I know it's because I'll be in my Pro now in about a week, it's still been harder than I though to have to take items off my truck.
I'm not sure if my Son was more sad because he had to help do the work, or also because of the removal.

So I did a mock up of the aftermarket grille I ordered. Figuring out the color scheme I want. It's a little sloppy but you get the idea. It's this or color match grille surround with black on the grille. I'm trying to go a little different than the trd pro grille. What do you guys think?

I'm in CA so mainly Tahoe and Mammoth Mountains. According to the tire guys, the 275/55/20 is better for snow than some of the bigger tires. I'm not sure if he's right or he's just trying to get me to buy the tires. I'm not planning to lift my truck so I need something that will fit without rubbing.
