Didn't expect this to be of any difficulty buy it was a pain in the ass to line them up as good as I could. Took about 45 min ! Not sure if it's worth the money but it was a stocking stuffer and I'm happy with the results. 20220123_133924.jpg

Is this only required because of the lift and leaf pack? If not, what’s the benefit to this? I don’t even have the TRD sway bar, but it’s on the “eventually” list.

Probably don’t want to hear this now but that section pops out very easily and they are much easier to install with it off.

Yes. Once I installed my new leaf packs the TRD bar wouldn't reach the bolt hole in the frame. Enter the longer links from BDS. I was even able to install the bar in its correct position (under the axle, instead of behind it)

    Couple recent additions:

    E3CCAD28-FA7A-4826-A605-5B99E5A38E00.jpg
    AJT console pieces

    MESO lights
    2DB41D01-0E92-412F-B077-1B7311FF03E9.jpg
And finally, did my own exhaust. Kept the ability to remove the whole midsection. Sounds great when you get on it, but quiet while cruising with minimal, if any, drone. Exactly how I wanted it.
(Don’t beat me up too bad on my welds ;) I am in no way a welder by trade, but hey, they’re solid and they’re sealed!)

first remove the shift knob, then pry up on the center section from the front lip of the console opening. Then once you lift that out of the way then you can put a pry tool in the upper seam of that section and it just pops out and down. Then you can un plug the electronics and remove. Takes all of 5 minutes

Yeah, it definitely took an uncomfortable amount of pressure to remove it for me. Felt like I was about to break something for sure.

Yours look perfect but that explains why the ones that came on my truck look they way they do! I've been wanting to redo it. Where did you get them? Nevermind, I see your came from the North Pole lol

On my Taco, I just temp installed the flares and used 1” 3M painters tape (tearing short pieces for the arc) just along the outside of the flare to know where to install the film and make a clean installation. I was lucky and able to reuse my tape to mark each fender. YMMV. Best.

Added some Prinsu handles, load panels, MaxTrax, and a Pelican to the roof rack this weekend. I went with eye nuts instead of the widely used wing nuts to attach the box. They function very similar to wing nuts, but with the added benefit of being mini tie down points. Next, I just need to finish the wiring on the light bar.

Added some much needed GoRhino RB20 running boards. Happy with how they turned out. I’ll have to get more pics when I have better lighting.
Also put some camp tailgate letters on.

Put some smoke vinyl over my Toyota emblem on the front grill ... tested TSS radar and seems to be working great with this vinyl overlay.

Same thing I have done everyday since December. I hug it and thank it for not being the feminine version of the midsize GMC canyon, a 2022 Tundra.

I love them so far. Easy to see behind the truck, lane changes are easy with the Blindspot mirror.

Only things I've found that I dislike, the way the wiring is from the factory on my truck (2021 TRD sport premium) the DRL are not true DRL. During the day they are off and only turn on with the headlights. There is a slight vibration. Not too bad but it's noticable if you look closely.

The backup lights (I ordered the brighter ones) are stupid bright. I have them coming on whenever the truck is on reverse but I think I'm going to add a switch so I can have them off when not needed. It does help a ton at night.

The upper glass I noticed was more "zoomed in" than the factory mirrors. Not a problem just different. I got used to it quick.

I wish I had ordered power fold, but only because I have to fold my mirrors everytime I enter/exit my garage.
