Cheers! I’m finishing the bottle I got into a fight with yesterdayimage.jpg

@Dsptundra are you the guy with the hood scoop light bar? I know someone here has one. Curious how bright it is.

@jewsNbrews how’s the house stuff going?

Cheers! I’ve been thinking of one of those hood scoop light bars also. Love to hear about it

Not me. Current lighting is a pair of ditch lights. Side shooters from CaliRaised. I have a set of Diode Dynamic behind the grill lights in the box. Hope to install soon.

Maybe the grill lights are what I’m thinking about. Looking forward to your report and pictures!

Good! House sold already. Closes Feb 25. House I bought should close same day. Double the lot size. Smaller house but 2 door garage and a shop. Start new job Monday. Been busy as hell, but it'll slow down once house's close and I get moved.

Holy chit, NOICE! Congrats are in order! Glad it worked out both ways...selling and buying. Post some pics when you have time...like in March.

Are you going to commute to work from WW?!

Yup, hopefully all smooth sailing. I will be staying with a friend during the week and coming back to WW on weekends to pack and clear the house. Moving stuff to my dad's, then from dad's to new home once I can.
    Thanks!
    Thanks! :fingerscrossed:

Funny...back in '99 I was taking a defensive knife class. A few people were talking to the instructor during break and he mentioned a number of customers had asked him to come over and inspect their Y2K kit. Someone then made a comment like "well, I bet their supply pales in comparison to your gear". The instructor just smiled and said "I travel light and fast, and I grab what I need as I go. So now that I know where supplies exist...".

The lesson I learned with that comment was more valuable than anything I got out of the class. I love the look of that Ford, but it clearly stands apart from the Tech-bro rigs that dominate our landscape. It lacks OpSec...

    Halfway through the Sequoia build!
The rear is done, I don't ever want to replace those shocks again on this thing! The top shock hardware is in a bitch of a spot.
Got Kroil on all the front end parts tonight, I'll start up there tomorrow.

These 265/70's look ridiculous now. :rofl:Might have to do something about that when I throw the new wheels on.

Also had to grind notches in the rear shock shafts for grip when removing the top nuts.

I think the Ironman green is going to look slick with the matte black wheels and Phantom Gray body color. :bananadance:

Won’t that notch create a weak point?

Think that notch was only to remove the old shocks.

That green will look great though.

Nice little morning. Roof rack removed new drip molding installed and glued and a nice little TRD shifter. Black out parts from sparks should be here next week.

How is the difference in wind noise with the rack off? Always been curious about the noise…

Wind noise update. You can tell the difference for sure but not as much as you’d expect.
