A build for speed and handling, I know it sounds crazy.

22x12 Weld wheels, TRD Lowering kit, TRD Rear sway bar, Honey D Fenders, Corsa side exhaust with black tips, Magnuson supercharger, pedal commander. Lux hard cover, TRD PRO Grill, Kicker 10in Subwoofer, Viper remote start, paint match mirrors and door handles, LED tail lamps, G10 rhino lined running boards. 3m on front fenders, hood, roof and rear fenders. Stop Tech Big Brake Kit front and rear.
I have completed a few re-learns, for the first 200 miles feels like a different truck. Working for Toyota for year, most Tundras feel the same. My 2012 Was like that. All in all, I'm happy with the kit.

Don't get me wrong, it wouldn't be bad, just aggressive at low speeds. I also have a pedal commander, I'm sure that doesn't help.

What do you mean your 2012 was like that? Your 2012 shifted like your 2018 does with the S/C + IPT VB? Curious about the "feels like a different truck" - in a smoother way?

When yours is shifting to 2nd, does it feel like the truck is being "bumped" forwards a little bit? As long as that's expected, I would say it's fine for around town. You learn to drive to minimize it anyway, at least in my experience.

I really love the mid-to-3/4 throttle shifts personally.

Every time I re-learn my trucks they seem to run better, I'm sure it's just me, but my 2012 was the same way with the TRD S/C. no valve body. Yes, my truck feels the same way, like its being "bumped" forward, only when driving normal. I don't mind it, just thought I would get that more on WOT. I do have a pedal controller as well. I'm changing out the rear diff next year, I will let you know how the shift kit does with that.

Took the truck this week to DGR in Dillsburg, PA for some dyno pulls. My truck is to wide, the tires hang over the dyno rollers by half of the tire....I will update when I find another place to make some pulls.

Bump for an awesome build. I wouldn't have even considered something like this, but bravo and well done sir! I would love to see something like this in person. Did you ever get that dyno done? Curious to see what its putting down.

Thank you, no Dyno yet. Looking at building the engine now and adding a fuel system, still trying to figure out how far I want to go. Where are you located?

I love the low look. If I could still pull my 26' enclosed race car trailer and lower like this I would do it ASAP.

Does the HP tuner give as much access to all the ECU as going with a DAP Tune? I have considered a DAP for years but I have Dyno access and the shop is an HP tune dealer. The HP way would be much more convenient and I would have access to see more of what is going on with them.

IMO HP is the way to go, Viktor did an amazing job, big difference from what I had with the Uni chip system. I will make some highway pulls this weekend and make a video.

I love that thing. Wonder if I could start a little smaller and see if I can light up all 4 tires in 4H. Going to start simple maybe with some cat back exhaust and go from there. I'm still in the research phase and my warranty is becoming less and less of a concern lol.

At first I didn't like it, but the more I look, the more I like it. I usually hate lowered trucks too, but yours is the exception. Very nicely done.

I'm the same way, I have always had lifted Tundras, but this was a different project, being a four door lowered truck that could keep up with with sports cars on the highway and back roads.

    Nice. Truck is quick.

Is your temp gauge working properly? Appears to have moved by the second pull, but looks dead cold on the first. Just a suggestion - wait until the truck is up to operating temperature before going WOT. I believe there are several reasons for this, but first and foremost, the engine is more sensitive under boost when it's cold. My recommendation would be to wait a few minutes after reaching operating temp since I believe it is reading coolant temp, and not oil temp. You want oil to be up to temp. This isn't suggesting letting the vehicle idle, it's more so driving it lightly for a little while. If you're on a stock bottom end, it's even more important.

If it's not working correctly and/or you have other gauges, you can just ignore my suggestion. But hopefully it helps others.

Gauge Works fine, it's only 20 degrees outside, the truck was warmed up enough for the run. Thank you for the suggestion.

After doing some data run's Viktor found out the truck is running lean under WOT, new fuel pump on order. Hopefully the fuel pump will make the truck safe to run under WOT.

Build is coming along so nicely. Looks like she has no problem stretching her legs on that pull. Kind of crazy seeing a Tundra speedo move that fast.

hmmm... if you manage to put a manual transmission into that beast.. and it ummm turns up missing.. don't come looking at my house.. you won't find it.. cuz I'd be out driving the hell out of it..
I went from my '12 Tacoma X-runner to my 2016 Tundra Limited 4x4 for more towing capacity and seating capacity.. and I love my Tundra.. but I still miss my X-Runner..
That is one good looking truck and and really looks like it would be fun to drive.
