got a video of the truck today from dealer as it just came off the truck. I am out of town on business, but plan to pick it up Thursday evening. Looks great in the video, but can’t wait to see it in person.

That 1794 Looks good! Congrats! And also looking forward to seeing your build! I am going to go with the same trim only in Blueprint/Saddle Brown. Hoping you might share some pictures of the interior when you get a chance. I am interested in the ambient lighting. Wondering how it looks in the 1794 as compared to the Capstone lighting.

Unfortunately I was traveling for work all week, so will add more pictures (interior and exterior) tomorrow as I will finally pick it up. Great dealership as they have been patient with my travel schedule. My wife and her dad took it for a spin and I still haven’t seen it other than pictures and FaceTime.

Yes, the seat extension is great. I’m 6’2” an immediately used it

Snap! Looks great! I’m also 6’ 2” and just learned of the seat extension support in the platinum and 1794 a few days ago. Was up in the air whether I go with platinum(exterior looks) or 1794(interior look and feel), definitely going to hold out for the 1794 w/ trd package. Thanks for posting

 

So instantly I can tell you the ride is way better than my 2014 1794 was, but I did have a lift on that and bigger wheels. The truck is much faster than I thought it would be. The audio system is pretty good (not as good as the 2015 Yukon Denali I traded in…but pretty good).

I have the TRD Cast Aluminum running boards being installed next week. I am also planning a 2” leveling kit and replacing the tires with some Maxxis 35s

I'm impressed you managed to get a 1794 with 6.5 bed AND TRD...That is what I want but dealer keeps telling me not likely, will probably get a 5.5 bed much sooner.

 

I put my deposit down back in like late-September or early October. Talked to them about every other week working to push them to finding what I wanted in the allocation. It’s the 3rd Tundra they got, the other two were SR5s. They have one limited now in Lunar Rock (pre-sold).

 

Which level are you planning on using?

 

Not sure yet, have a guy that does a lot of lifts in the PNW researching a bit. He was very negative on rough country

 

I’ll be curious what you go with. I’m also in the PNW so if you find a good one let me know. Currently thinking the Westcott. But would like a full icon or king 2” if they come up with something soon. Figure I’ll give it a month before pulling the trigger.

Do you have a good shop in mind for the work?

 

I’ve talked to the guy Cory who runs the Les Schwab in Lynnwood. Spoke to him when I had the other truck. He does all the lifts for NW Motorsports in the area and knows his stuff. Been doing this stuff for 20+ years. Plus he seems like a good dude.

 

Congratulations on the truck. I put my name down for 1794 TRD. Does it come with the digital HUD? Is the start engine button red?

 

Yes on red button, but no HUD…which I don’t understand why. My Yukon and A7 both had HUD, so that is something I will miss. You can’t get it with the TRD OR package right now \_O_/

The interior is very nice though. The moonroof is massive. Very comfortable to drive and the suspension feels nice.
