The hitch has me sold. Doesn’t look like an afterthought like some others I’ve seen.

Does it claim to be tow rated? I know my coastal kit claimed not to be rated, but still super strong. I would definitely get it bare, and gusset the shit out of that hitch area, maybe box in what you can for strength, since you actually tow something decent

I haven’t seen a rating. Adding a plate around the back of the receiver is a good call.

Yeah the stock hitch seems to have a lot of coverage, I assuming spreading the load, and uses angled pieces for strength; I wish I had boxed mine instead of big gussets inside @ my swing out pivot. It’s strong but I see it flex when it’s all the way open, or when Eman thinks it’s an actual swing…….

I can barely tie my own shoes. That's why I have velcro shoes.

With that said, I am in no way capable of doing something like setting up a repeater, dial it in and tune shit out like that.

There are several unanswered texts asking this same question. The guy in charge of my repair told me 2 weeks ago that he sent the last of my parts to paint and he would begin assembly once he got them back. Still no sign of my Baja Designs fog lights but I told him I'll take the truck without them and install them myself just to get my truck back. No word yet on whats going on. As for the ram it was due for an oil change about 3000 miles ago and both of the tail lights are burnt out. It's collecting dust in my front yard and I'm driving my 4runner now.

Yup, I would never buy a used rental, my wife actually had a focus when we got together that was a rental car and she could never get it to smell good. I took the rear seats out and there was something rancid that had spilled through the carpet but was never cleaned up. We didn't even have that car another month before it was traded in. People (me included) do not care for rental cars as they would their own.

Ram has a slap in the glove box and the air freshener you gave me is still hanging from the mirror, I need to order some more of those.

It's only 22 years old, but the missing bumper can make it look a tad older.

Well, not a real fan of buying a rental but back in 2002 we bought an '02 Isuzu Trooper from the local dealer here which was a rental/loaner. 14k miles when we bought it and 245k when we gave it to some friends. Besides brakes, tires, oil changes, etc... the only major thing I ever did to it was replace the A-Arm bushings at about 225k (PITA). 16 years we had that thing.

Now, my Mrs. could really give a rats a$$ about what she drives, as long as it starts when she gets in it and gets her to where she needs to go without drama. A vehicle is an appliance in her mind but this has been the ONLY car I have ever heard her mention "You know, I kind of miss the ol Trooper sometimes".

    Maybe we just got lucky?

Alright.... so what rims were you running with these and how much modification did you have to do to get them to fit? Also what happened to the 5th one?
