So I have been searching a lot about liners and its mixing me up. It looks like there has been different versions of weather tech or husky over the years. So finding current info has been little tough to get a clear answer.

I am in Canada so Water/Snow collection is key here.

From what I was able to find out it looks like the for the fronts the Husky's are better then the WT.

But I see Husky has x act and weather beater.

I was thinking the x act are better. which is what I am leaning towards.

As to rear I see so many guys talking about how good the WT are but when I look at the picture they have zero control of water if you look at design the water will channel towards the door opening.

Onto current pictures here are WT

Here are the ones I am thinking to get Husky X act

Here are the weather beaters which If I understand are the lower end models

Hey. I am in Canada also. I have the x-act and they are excellent. They will collect and retain all the snow and water. They are also more flexible. Have used them in the last 3 trucks and like them better then the weathertech mats.

My daughter has weather tech in her pro, I have husky x act fit. She is ordering x act fit now and getting rid of the Weather tech in the front. Weather tech gets very hard and my x act stay pliable and really easy to clean. Good luck with your search.

    great thank you for info.

Yes I know what you mean. I have the Husky weather beater in the 4runner and weathertech in my rav4. those are your basic hard plastic types of liners. I think the x acts are more higher end, from what I can tell same shape as the weather beater husky just more rubbery. which I like.

I was just looking again at the rear weather tech and what a stupid design they are. talk about zero water protection going down the side .

I'm in Winnipeg so get snow 10 months of the year.

Husky Xact for front and back in my 2019. I'd recommend the full coverage rears.

They stay in place, hold the dirt and snow and rinse easily for cleaning and dumping. The rear is a two person job to remove as it's quite big.

I got mine on Amazon.ca with free shipping. It was cheaper than anywhere else.

They are cheaper now than when I bought 2 years ago:

Thanks Bruce. I am thinking the full for rear too. If do some sort of under seat storage I will just cut it if needed.

Funny that you talk about rear I didn't know they made a non full in x act rear
Husky site only shows the weather beater in floor and full versions not x act.

I will order today x act front and full x act rear

    thank you guys

ps the parts numbers you list to match husky's site so all good.

The problem with the latest husky xact rear is that they cover hardly any of the side area below the seats. I run husky xact fronts because they are far superior to weathertech fronts, but put the wt rear back in after seeing how little side coverage there is. My dog and two kids always step right where the husky don’t cover.

I have read that to by others but considering they have zero water control they are useless to me.

ps to confirm you are saying the full version of the husky don't cover as well or the non full version?

reason why I ask is because the rear full x act looks to cover a lot of the side rear

I have the rear full xact and they do not cover the sides of the rear seats, despite what the images on their site show.

There’s a new version of the weather techs that look to be same style and material as the huskies.

This is what the rear covers in the one I linked above....unless they have changed.

It would be nice if they came down the sides under the seat, but my seats are usually up anyways, so no one gets in there.

do you mean the 'Floorliner HP'? I have these and am happy so far. I guess a long time ago the Husky ones were considered not as good at the WT, looks like that has changed now. Stuck in my old ways.

Yes, this is exactly what I was saying earlier. The pictures on the husky site don’t match reality when it comes to the full coverage rear xact mat. The WT rear covers an additional 6-8” on the sides, so I have stuck with those.

Fair chance it would have been cheaper to just order direct from Husky. That's what I did. Also better chance of getting the right stuff.

I don't think Weatherbeaters are exactly low-end models, it more just depends on what you want. The Weatherbeaters supposedly clean easier because they're a little harder.

For the rear, I first bought Weatherbeaters and while they seemed fine, I had big issues with stuff sliding around on them in the back. I keep a lot of gear on the floor in the back. I had read that the Xacts were more rubbery, so I ordered that. When I had both in hand, I could honestly barely tell a difference between the two, but with the Xact in the rear, my stuff did stop sliding so easily, so I send the Weatherbeater back.

That said, I still have Weatherbeaters up front and I have no complaints.

    Don't think liners, think mats.
There are many liners that are just thin sheets of molded plastic and they suck.

I have Husky X-acts and I've been very happy with them.

To follow up the latest x act rear full coverage do not cover the side of rear seat as stated by old man blue.
What fucken bs is that. I do care more for water control so they are better then weather tech in this regards but come on guys why would you do that. unless i got part numbers wrong?

for those that have early version of the x acts with better side of seat protection can you post part number. thanks

this is what I was expecting to get based on Amazon's pictures and Husky's home page site

Hey CanTundra, did you figure out the rear mat debacle? I have always had Weathertechs (4runner, Highlander, Sienna), but this group got me looking at and considering the Husky X-Act set.

I am most concerned about the REAR for the crewmax, as I want that same coverage on the side of the under seat "hump" along the door sill. Your picture shows what I expect based on the Husky site, and several pics/reviews online. Part #53841.

Did Husky really change their product and not tell us?

Yes, they changed it. I have the rear husky xact and it doesn’t cover much on the sides. I use weathertech rear and husky front for this reason.

I have the Husky x-act. Very nice mats for the money. The Weathertechs will eventually curl a bit on the edges. Huskys have not done that.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up ordering the Weathertech Floorliner HP, hopefully they work out okay in the long rung.

I live in Maine, where the weather is similar to Canada. As much as I love the 1794 mats, I pulled them and replaced with Husky X-act. I’d say they are the best! I’ve ran WeatherTech In my BMWs for years and I like the Husky much more.

Please post pictures when you have them installed in the truck. From WeatherTech's site, it appears the WeatherTech Floorliner HP covers the vertical carpet between the seat bottom and door sill, which the latest revision to the Husky X-act no longer covers. The HP material seems to be softer rubber (similar to Husky X-act) than the original WT liners as well.

Husky X act contour up front and weather tech mat for the back in my crew max. THe weather tech covers more area in the back.

I second this request. I am on the fence between the WT HP and the Husky Xact fits.
