    No Longer for Sale.

@BoysandHisToys hooked me up with the info that this part actually does work with my Tundra! Always learning stuff on this forum

    Brand new in box

Drivers side mirror for Toyota Tundra. Purchased for my 2012 Platinum but accidentally ordered the wrong part #.
I was supposed to order 87940-0C203 not 87940-0C213
Of course I never opened the box or confirmed the part number until after the return period was over! :censored: :homer:

Cost me $550 with shipping new

Asking $350.00 shipped within lower 48.
My stupid mistake could be your gain

    https://www.sparksparts.com/oem-parts/toyota-door-mirror-left-879400c213

The difference is that this one does not have auto-dimming feature, whereas my OEM mirrors do have auto-dimming.

Please confirm your vehicle fitment and if it has the features you are looking for.

WOW! I never thought that it would be that confusing / misleading! My truck has memory and clearly has auto-dim but as you noticed I could not find one that had both!
To me the auto-dimming is more important but I guess I will check if it actually has auto-dim!

A parts Manager at the stealership even told me there wasn't an option for both auto-dim and memory.

    Thanks for the heads up.

Sale on hold for the time being... I will unbox and compare glass and pins from my OEM to this one.

Yeah. I have auto dimming and memory too. I think their description is just wrong.

You can also check your VIN with stealership and they’ll tell you which one. Mine ended up being what they said even though description said no auto dimming.

I have the limited, but they mush have went with the platinum mirrors.

So you should have the wires that run for the heated mirrors, wires that run to the turn signal, and then two wires that run to the top and bottom of the glass for the auto dimming.

I used a flat plastic trim tool to pop the glass off the mirrors. I was very scared I would break the glass!

Yep I used the VIN at the dealership and they gave me the part # (which they said had memory but no auto-dimming) which I then ordered online.

hmmm, I have a plug with 4 wires (2 brown, 2 blue) and then two spade connectors one at top, one at bottom... wonder if this is the same.

When you popped off the glass you press up from the bottom, right? I will likely test this on my 1A Auto mirror first, won't break my heart if something goes awry.

here is a quick image I found online. I’ll try to take a photo of mine tomorrow morning as I kept my original one as a spare in case I needed it.

    6B6BF04A-1F19-45EB-8270-4E8A7E162BF1.jpg

the two spade terminals (top left) I think are for the heating element. Then the connector has the turn signal (blue and purple) and dimming wires (black and brown). The image above also has blind spot in the lower right.

yes, push the glass in at the bottom, then use a wide plastic tool to push the glass up. It will pop off the round clip in the middle.

Travis. Please put a picture of the item for sale (per buy sell trade section rules). For the love of God, do not post a picture of the box.

    Roger that.
I didn't post pic as I had not opened the box yet. I will open today to see if it actually works for my truck and snap some pics

Mine was exactly the same. But the memory feature does work.

Glad I could help. I went through the same thing with my passenger side. I actually went through a similar thing when I replaced just the glass on my driver side where it was turning brown. I guess from the heater?

but yes, Toyota needs to correct their description.
