I also looked at the Rago option. It was too hardcore for me to just hold my phone. I don't overland or have a need of a radio, GPS or anything else so it would be there to just hold my phone. Didn't feel like ripping apart my dash for the install either. The other thing I like about the ProClip is that it is closer to you (the driver) than a mount would be on the center dash. I supposed you could always use a RAM extension arm to bring it closer to you though. I do like RAM products- use their fishing products on my kayak. They're a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

Installed some sexy new tow mirrors. Can't wait til spring when I can take my camper out again. Have some bumper shells for the front bumper caps / grille surround / hood bulge on their way to get rid of the chrome.

    Presoak with the pressure washer
Did the 2 bucket wash. Doing the wheels and wheel wells first. After that pressure washer everything off.
Then hand washed it and used the blaster on it to dry it off. Tomorrow I will add some ceramic deal spray.

This might be one of the first times I've seen someone do this inside the garage

I do it all the time with our vehicles. Our garage is heated in the floor. I usually keep it at 62 for the winter.

We wash our vehicles in the garage as well. The Phoenix sun will dry any soap well before you can hose it off..

Yeah, dried soap spots suck. I just wash early morning, evening or the off chance it's cloudy.

I've never washed in my garage. Guess I could give it a shot.

I wish I could fit my damned truck into the garage. Between the safe, tools, and gym equipment there’s no room. Honestly I don’t know if my truck would fit anyway.

Yeah, my garage is small also. I like my last houses had the one big garage door so I could pull in the middle and do stuff when needed. Now I have the small two doors and much more difficult. Tundra won't, at least not all of it, could put it in and leave the bed hanging out. The Tacoma and my lady's car go in the garage and might try the washing of those. My Tacoma is black and always looking for tips on water, soap spots from the sun.

Yes I to have the proclip. But broke several of the phone mounts. So I use the pro clip and I bought the magnetic holder and just attached it right to the proclip mount. it comes with a metal plate for the back of the phone or I have since bought a phone case with a metal built-in to the case and just stick it right to the mount. I can take a picture of it when I’m back at my truck if you would like.

My Tacoma is black andalways looking for tips on water, soap spots from the sun. Taco Spike I know the feeling with black paint. The only black car I have is my C7 Z06. The wife talked me into my black Corvette but got a awesome deal on it 3 years ago. I said lol the only way I was getting a black car if you let me get it fully wrapped and ceramic coated and she did. Get yourself a air blaster to blowoff the water before it dries. It will help not getting water spots.

    HA!

I just got this last summer. Got it for driveway and side walk after mowing and trimming, (after decades of being cheap and sweeping with a broom) but it's so small I use it for the truck also! It helps a lot better than I expected but not as good as a full size blower.

Maybe not the biggest mod, but removed my tailpipe to spray the visible end with some matte black 2000F paint. I'll edit in the final result once I reinstall it this evening.

    PXL_20220119_191222581.jpg

Edit: here's the final product. Pretty happy with it since I was mostly just trying to get rid of that copper/brass color of the tailpipe. $10 well spent! Plus I learned how to lower the tire

Nice work! Curious, why not one long compartment with a few moveable dividers for more storage options?

Thanks! The supports for the seats take up all the space in those divided area’s. There is a very nice ‘through’ box you can buy that replaces those supports with flat ones, but, it’s about 800? bucks. That money is slotted for chrome delete, just the bumper caps to go!
