Yeah driving home last night after work in the snow again. Love how the tundra handles in the snow. It’s like a tank!!

 

Excuse me.... Did you say your truck was out in the snow? are you crazy? (just kidding now) How many miles you have on it now.. 3K..?? don't push it to hard and go wearing that truck out!!

 

Getting some miles on it. Going to have to park it soon. Lol. 5200!! It will be sitting a lot come March when my new Camry comes in. I will be using that for work mostly. Build date is January 31. How many do you have now?.

 

Just a little under 27K.

But better than my normal miles... thank you Covid... but my normal yearly average was 54348. The highest I have ever did in one year was + 61K.

 

Wow!! That’s a lot of miles in one year. I assume you drive your Pro all the time? But that what you bought it for. There built to last!!

 

Holy hell. I thought I was the king of the miles here. You have taken my crown. I’m a traveling sales guy and usually drive 40k miles. You got me!

 

Yep.... and my wife has been giving me the you know what for all these years..

 

Over here with my 4 months and 700 miles…. Hah

 

So you know the routine very well.... I do sales, engineering and the commissioning..... It pays the bills.

 

Oh my god... two tanks of gas..... how long have you owned it? ( I hope he doesn't say 4 or 5 months )

If I drove mine every day the miles would be racked up also. With working 7 days a week. I use my car mostly.

 

Holy. I know I've got an old one since I got mine October 2020, but I've got 26xxx. And I rarely drive it for work

 

Yup just shy of 4 months… if you want to laugh more, 30 of it was by the dealer 11 for build miles, and 19 or so for driving for bed liner and returning to dealership. I only work 2 miles from home so each day I do abouT 5 round trip. Then weekends sometimes it’s easier to pile in the van for the kids and family trips depending on what we are doing.

 

Yup. I sell fire protection in the southeast.

 

3.5 months, 2700 miles. I’m also a short commute low mileage driver. It’s a big year if I top 10k. My Tacoma was 5 years old and had 40,000 on it when I traded.

 

I'm just over 6 months of ownership and about to hit 5k miles, though 1,800 of that was driving home from the dealership. Working from home means low miles, but hey we're taking the family out on a road trip this weekend so that will be fun.

 

Got mine around the same time as Annie and just rolled 28,000 on the way home last night from work.

 

At around 3 months or so, around 1900 miles. This is actually high for me! I do work from home, but a lot more road trips with the camper. I use to only drive 3-5k a year tops.

 

I'm definitely part of the "need to drive more" crowd. I've had it about 8 months and I'm at like 3,100 miles. Since Covid, I work from home so I barely drive during the week. It's also not my only vehicle.

 

Giving it some love today!!

Is that your garage/shop?
I'm looking at building a shop in the next few years and was going to have it setup to wash the vehicles in. Wondering what your walls are made of and if you did a drain in your garage.

 

Thanks Andy, Yes the walls are poured concrete. Both bays have drains. I also did when my wife and I added on to our house my garage has radiant heat. I keep it usually at 62. I love it. I wash my vehicles all the time in the winter in there. When I come home from a snow storm and next morning my truck or car is dryed off. I park my truck and wife’s Acura and my corvette is in there.

 

it looked like that, but didn't wanna sound like more of a dumbass than i already seem. considering i'm building a 40x60....i'll prob just use cement board. but sounds good. i'll have to see about a heat/cooling source.

 

Sounds like it should work. There should be more heating and cooling options. Good luck with your project.

 

I'll be dropping my truck off late tonight for you to clean up. Leave your FOB in your truck so that i don't have to wake you up when i get there. I should be back Sunday afternoon to swap trucks again. So no need to rush to get everything done. Inside is real clean so not much to do there. No need to use a sponge on the frame and oil pan, just pressure wash is fine....

 

No I cannot just pressure wash it off Lemoyne40!! I’m too anal. Lol. That’s what the wife says. When I do them it’s all out and No cutting corners. Lol.
