    I installed the option A set yesterday evening and am very pleased with the change to the turn signal functionality and increased output.

    I found the bottom brake light bulbs very difficult to lock into place until I put a dab of dielectric grease on the screw heads. Per memario’s advice I used the resistors on the switchbacks.

    I had a tundra owner follow me into a parking lot and ask about my tail lights. He was very interested why my rear turn signals were yellow. I gave him all the details and hotshot website. Hopefully it results in selling another set of lights!

    I'm sorry if this was covered for A previously, but might be a good comparison to the B shown.

    For the example of brakes on with blinker on, is this how each would function?

    A: Top & bottom bulb both illuminated red bright, switchback amber blinking in 'middle'
    B: Top & bottom bulb both illuminated red bright, switching on/off

    Or would B have the brights from braking (vs. running lights dim) and then go to dim for blinker (so it's always illuminated)?

    Glad B wasn't around when I ordered. Pretty sure I'd still be sitting here trying to decide. I do love the amber turn signals, however, so I'm very happy with A. Great products! I love the OEM+ feel.

    No worries! Option A you are 100% correct, and you're correct on Option B as well but I'll explain it a bit more just to clarify:

    Option B:
    If parking lights are on - Regardless of whether or not brakes are applied the turn signal takes priority. So the light behavior would be hi/low cycling. Once the turn signal is turned off if brakes are applied you will have high and if they're not you'll have low.
    If parking lights are NOT on - Turn signal is Hi/Off cycling, and again this behavior takes priority to brake.

    Hopefully that all makes sense!
