Amsoil Dealer/Distributor

Anyone on here by chance a dealer/distributor for Amsoil? Looking to pick up some oil for the dirtbike

 

For a $10 membership (iirc) you can buy direct. Food for thought.

 

I just checked and you're correct. Idk why I was thinking it was quite a bit more.

 

Is there any reason to buy from a dealer, vs buying a membership and getting it shipped to you?

 

Not now....for some reason I was remembering the membership being $100 or more

 

I've dealt with @lewi3069 in the past and had a great experience. Not sure if he's on here anymore or not...

 

I'm still around. Although I just put an order in for an F450. Not sure how much longer I'll have the Tundra. I "sell" it at my cost nothing extra. PM what products you want and your address.

 

Amsoil, BG, Lucas, Royal Purple are all scams.

From my limited understanding, bases are far and few from short list of suppliers. "Additive packages" is what makes certain brands unique to others.

 

Gee I've been using Amsoil in everything I own for over 40 years. Boy did I screw up.....

 

It's not like they stand behind their product of anything and offer some sort of actual warranty either....

 

What’s the going rate for a 12 quart case of 0w-20?

 

Just as a marker, I get gallons (4 qts) for $52 each, so averages $13/qt, here in Seattle. I might try to order direct, but it did put me in touch with a guy who has his own garage and cheaper hourly rates than most places, plus he was at Toyota for 9 years before doing his own thing. So it worked out.

 

I've only had 1 issue. My most recent oil change was delayed about 2-3 weeks because the original shipment somehow spilled all over the inside of the UPS truck. I felt bad for my driver but he said he didn't care 'cause he didn't have to clean it up.
Having it delivered is usually a little cheaper for me than buying it locally.
Oh, I'm an avid Amsoil scam supporter when I'm not snapping nipples!
