Wow, now that’s some equipment! Did you use the ICS plate as well for reinforcement?

 

Does your truck lean on the driver’s side?

 

Yes i did. Very simple install but well worth the stability.

 

Not that i notice. Will measure when i get home. Stackin bodies right now.

 

Looks like maybe 1/8”. I also have the passenger side bed loaded up as well though.

Yeah my driver’s side is about a half inch lower even with 1/4 tank lol f gas end no load. I think it’s just something I have to live with. It drives me nuts though because once you notice it, it’s all I can see when I look at my truck.

 

Where did you buy your dash mounts for the gopro and video camera?

Installed Valhalla cat shields, added a pump so i could have running water, and washed it today. Preparing for a road trip to AZ to get camper tent from AT Overland in 2 weeks! Going to camp my way back.

 

Heading to AZ tomorrow for a monday install at AT Overland. Camping back across the country next week. Hoping for an uneventful trip….

$310 ARB CKMA12 On-Board Air Compressor High Performance 12 Volt for Air Locker Differentials and Tire Inflation

ARB CKMA12 air compressor under hood. For testing purposes: p295/70r18 tires took a little under 4 min per tire to fill from 10#s to 40#s. Very happy with performance and placement. May end up adding a 3 gallon tank under truck. Time will tell.

CKMA12 get very hot after all four tires filled? Or did you notice any decrease at all in performance, even the slightest?

 

I only did one tire. It did get warm but nowhere near my old gspn twin cylinder compressor i got from Amazon. That compressor took 10 min per tire. I checked the pressure every minute during fill and it added about 8-9 #s per min. It slowed as pressure rose. I dont think it was heat soak.

 

Ok cool. I misunderstood your post as you filled all the tires. Anyway, thanks again for the performance report. That ARB single is a performer and that is why it's a hard decision between it and the dual. It's only money I guess.

 

Honestly it came down to was it worth twice the money to spend half the time filling tires??? I plan to rig up one of those hose kits that fill all tires at the same time eventually and can be getting drinks and snacks for the road situated for 15 minutes while tires are filling.

 

Exactly! A while ago I adopted the "buy once, cry once" state of mind and now struggle with not spending more money than I have to.
