Alright. I sold my 2014 1794 (which had a 4” lift, fuel wheels, dual exhaust) 2 years ago and have regretted it ever since.

I got with a local dealer back in September and put money down…and got the call from the dealer today!

1794 OR Black w/ the brown interior and 6.5’ bed comes in the next few days.

I’m stoked and am immediately going to do a 2” leveling kit and 35s, which I already lined up.

I have seen almost no posts / pics of the 1794…especially with OR. Anyone drive it yet? Any concerns? Will I miss that V8? Damn it ain’t cheap.

I was looking at the rough country 1.75” - any thoughts? I had seen a video on that one. I also want to black out the mustache…but might wait a bit.

I wonder how the sub sounds in that truck. I don’t think my old one had a sub, but can’t remember.

Rough Country isn’t a bad option. I would check out the wescott designs preload collar kit - it’s what I ended up going with.

Let us know what you end up doing in regards to the mustache. The quote I got to vinyl wrap it was $500 - not worth it to me. I’m either gonna wait until color matched parts become available or plasti dip it if I can’t handle it enough lol.

Im actually waiting on mine to come in lol. I just have all the parts ordered so when it finally does come in everything will be installed when I take delivery! It was supposed to be built on Tuesday but it got pushed to the 25th. There’s quite a few videos on YouTube from wescott designs and they have lots of pictures on their Facebook. It’s a 3/1 kit and you can clear 37’s without any body chops! I ordered some 295/70/18’s to match with it.

The lunar rock is tough to beat! It’s what I got. Black is solid too! Adventure motors did a full on suspension lift on a black SR5 TRD OR and vinyl wrapped the chrome… it looks soooo good.

I drove most of the new models in October at the Toyota press event. 3 days in San Antonio, with one of those driving and messing with the trucks for about 8 hours.

    You won’t miss the V8. Even the non-hybrid V6TT spanks the 5.7.

I wasn’t a big fan of the previous gen 1794, but I’m a big fan of this version. The wood and chrome are a little more tasteful this time in my opinion.

The off road package is worth every penny if you plan to actually go off road.

I went to visit Jeff Westcott right after Christmas and he showed my wife and I and our friend around the shop. He has some really nice work going on there and some good designs. I’m not typically a fan of spacer lifts, but until some coilovers come out, I’d run Westcott’s for sure.

I drove the TT V6 and it felt like a suv crossover. It’s quick has pep but a different feel. Not quite truck like. Interior is smaller as well. That was a 2WD sport model with base SR5

I plan to take it off road often. Logging trails and beach mostly.

Doesn't Toyota offer a lift package with the 2022's? Maybe it's not available yet.

Yeah $3,995 not including the price of install. Probably looking about $5000 for the lift kit installed not including tires and wheels.

Just waiting to hear from the dealer @randomquickness

Yesterday when I was there finalizing stuff they indicated it could be Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. Sounds like even if they do have it as of today, I can’t pick it up until early next week as they do QC or prep stuff.

Looking for the same exact truck! Just different color as I will be parking it outside. What part of the country are you in to get one in that configuration? I’ve been keeping an eye on inventory on Toyota’s website(whether it’s accurate or not I have no idea) and so far none are being distributed to my region or regions surrounding me.

So glad to see someone on here is getting one and can’t wait to see pics.
