This is the first time I’ve had a Ford in my driveway. Can’t believe I did it!

My 10 year old has been begging for this kit. He wanted to spend all his Christmas money plus savings on it. Told him I’d split it with him. The only rules are he has to share with his brothers, and there will be no jumping it. Everybody knows the Raptor can’t handle jumps. :D

We are definitely way into Legos in this house.

I’ve looked at that Lego kit very hard a few times now… what’s your take from a Lego enthusiast perspective?

wish they’d make a Tundra, but it takes some big $$$ to get a sponsored Lego build

Oh I’m aware lol. My 10yo got mad because I fixed too many of his decal applications as it is.
It’s actually really cool. The rear wheels make the pistons move up and down in the cylinders as the crankshaft turns. You might want to have one of your kids help; there are a couple of steps that require TINY hands.

It’s sold out at Lego.com. If you can, find one at regular price in stock at Target. The resellers are already hiking the price up on unopened kits.

I’ve got the big red crane from a few years ago. Full 4WD differentials, articulated steering, drive axles move the pistons. But the smaller kits are always fun because they are the same scale (I’ve got the orange Corvette from ~8 years ago) and still get some good features

Here’s a pic of the LegoBoost power plant. Rear drive axle makes the pistons go.

Interesting open combustion chamber design. :monocle:

And no trans cooler to be found! :eek2:

My son has a Raptor power wheels. It has been a fantastic amusement source for him. I think it has more actual miles on it than many actual Raptors.
