Here's close up shots with one from underneath with tow hitch on right. Mine are black plastic:

Here's the window sticker with standard & optional equipment, very basic 2WD SR5 Crewmax 5.5' bed, except for optional equipment on right side of page:

    Hope this helps

I’d keep it just like this also (as was previously suggested)

Very interesting. Thanks for going above & beyond with the up close pics. I'll to keep this on my "Explore this topic later" list when I get access to the technical manual and see. I'm not in love with chrome on the bumper & mustache, but I also don't despise it like others do.

DexterL & bigjuice, some of my ideas look good, but some don't!

    Thanks!

My predator steps arrived at my dealer today, picking them up tomorrow afternoon. Is there a torque value for the bolts underneath, or just as tight as my ratchet will go? Should I use thread locker?

Did you have to get an alignment after install?

Make sure to post some pics once you get them installed. Should look pretty slick.

Funny thing about that…I did go to check that out at a local auto shop but they didn’t have the specs as yet (so couldn’t do it).

will have to head back to the dealership sometime (or wait/try another place) but so far it drives great as I didn’t change a thing else.

I just ordered the renegade, to me a better option, cost more though, also a 22 week wait but the customer service was very helpful and answered all my questions.

That's a pretty good looking cover. I like the track system.

You know this is a funny thing, you pay this much for a truck and there is no locking cap of lid, every car these days has some sort of lock, I found that very Odd, I'm ordering it right now, thanks!

Let me start with saying I'm not calling you out specifically. I just had a funny thought based on your comment.

Like the Great Tow Hook Conspiracy thread...there needs to be a dedicated thread for the phrase "I paid this much for a truck and it's missing ________!?!"

Things I've seen from people who have uttered those words that need to be on that thread:
    • Tow Hooks
    • V8
    • Homelink (as standard) - I'll claim this one
    • Auto-dimming mirror (as standard)
    • Heated seats (as standard)
    • Cooled seats (as standard)
    • Heated steering wheel (as standard)
    • Power in the bed (as standard)
    • Locking gas cap - New to the list! :)
    Happy Friday!

Can we order color matched crome delete parts from the dealers yet? Such as bumper panels , door handles, mustache?

OK, so my predator steps are now on. It was as easy as the installation of the running boards sounds. You just unscrew all the existing bolts, leaving the 1 bolt at the front inside and rear inside partially inserted to hold the steps in place while you do the rest of the bolts. It took me about 20 minutes for the first side and about 10 minutes for the second. They make it much easier to get in and out. The part number is for the D-cab (as in A, B, C, D-cab) aka the CrewMax.FAB42DC8-2036-4D3B-A0AE-74D236581D49.jpg 327D29D7-5BB3-4549-83B1-3E207580CE9E.jpg D7E0831F-80DF-4500-9EBA-810B8108C8BA.jpg

Nice! Waiting on mine to arrival. Dealer says ETA is Tuesday for my Double Cab. They originally ordered the "D-cab" Predator steps for my Double Cab, not realizing these were for the CrewMax and I actually needed the "C-Cab" ones.

My Toyota bed cover is in though. Picking that up after work today and installing tomorrow.

All-weather floor mats and the OEM black tailgate inserts are being mailed and should be here tomorrow.

Pretty excited! I'll pull the trigger on a TRD skid plate post leveling kit & tires later this summer.

Very nice, I was wondering If you think there could be an issue with dirt or debris getting caught up where the edge meets the truck body? Looks like a dirt trap to me,

In case anyone is interested in third party running board options…

I just spoke with a rep at Go Rhino - he stated that boards will be available by the end of next week.

Anyone knows how much weight the bed extender can handle vertically?

I'm thinking having my 60 lb 13 feet long paddle board rest on the top of the upper rail
