I looked at those Maxxis Razrs when I was at LS getting chains. They do look pretty nice. Did you have any siping added by LS?

Any chance I have to post pictures I will.:) I did not have them do any additional siping in them. They have some from the factory and thought I would give them a try as is. Tried to include a pic where you can see the siping.

Truck just pulled into the bay. 95 minutes after my appt. I just went up and kicked someone in the ass. Trying to be patient.

I actually called LS yesterday. Was ready to give them a try. They had a generic A/T in stock and the Toyo M/T. Hard pass on both. The Toyos were going to over $500 a corner. Nuts

Schwab has gotten expensive and their service has taken a hit. First time in 20 years I didn’t go to them. Discount tire did same setup I wanted from LS for $600 less.

I’ve found that Schwab is very location dependent. I’ve been to some bad ones for sure but one here in North Idaho is pretty good from the experiences I have had. Might also help that we have a family friend that works there.

I have a buddy that’s been at Schwabs for last 10 years. He says it is not the same anymore since it’s been sold. Same name because it’s popular, but new owners business practice is far from the original Schwab business practice. Being rural out here there’s not a lot of competition so they are safe. Bigger areas are losing customers according to him.

Finally. The shoes the truck should come with from the factory. Those small, P-rated Michelins on a Pro is like going to a track meet wearing flip flops. Added about 1/2” of height, which is right with expectations.

Me so very happy with my me-so lights installed!

Any one have any pictures of how they ran wiring across the engine bay for ditch lights and got wiring down from the lights themselves? Looking for some as getting these wired up is the next mod.

Not super happy with how the wires are bent but it’s in and working. Out of daylight so going to go drink beer and work on it tomorrow and get the ditch lights connected.

Cheers! :cheers:Enjoying a Great Notion Stout right now with pizzas in the oven.

Weekend plans are to finish wiring ditch lights. Work on caulking and touch paint on the master bedroom base I installed last weekend. Take the kids out to give mom a couple hours of peace and quiet. Maybe some other chores around the house.

I finally got the boys up to the mountain. Had planned on going all week but with the pass closed, then smothered with rain, we waited until yesterday. My 3yo is in love and doing well on the chairlift and the 16 month old lasted for about 15 laps on the Magic Carpet. Headed back up tomorrow.

    Too many mods to come
Just did my ditch lights today lol I got the HD Harness from diode dynamics. Makes wiring easy minus feeding the harness through the firewall. I didn’t permanently mount the switch since I’ll be doing a switch pros setup soon. Also did the fogs and amsoil oil change with the aluminum filter cap. Hopefully tomorrow l’ll knock out the under-seat storage.

Haha. I’d love to know that as well.

Sliders are on hold for now. I still need a decent step into the cab for my M-in-L.

The bumper is interesting. I’ve signaled to the wife and she didn’t flinch, so it appears I won’t be sleeping on the couch. I’m going with the Warn Semi-hidden system and a 12K winch. The mount is backordered until a week from never. Still figuring that one out. I’m watching the winch on Amazon and will spring when the price drops. I’m hoping to have it all here and installed before the summer.

    We shall see

I know this is all in my head, but I swear my truck knows it has good tires. It has been driving all weekend with a strut.

Also figured out why it took two guys to raise up my spare. There’s very little clearance with these slightly larger tires. I dropped it to make sure things were fine and had to call the wife out to help crank it back up. I had to crawl under on my creeper to hold it exactly in place.

It took two guys at the tire shop, to get mine in place also.

Very happy with my Nokian Rotiiva AT plus tires. Have about 12K miles on them in the last 5 months. Worked perfect all last weekend in the snow.
