Put the westcott lift on it . That will tighten it up. I did the Eibach springs on my 2020 4Runner Pro and made a big difference in the ride and softness.

 

It works, I installed TRD F+R sways on stock suspension, you don't lose any suspension travel and very little flex.

 

Looks like I will trade my raptor for tundra as numbers worked out. Definitely looking at Westcott lift and something for the rear.

 

Not recommended to who? Are you going to rock crawl your '21 Pro? 90% of these truck owners, including myself, are pavement princesses and occasional dirt roads. The truck is a lot more fun around corners and it's made a night and day difference pulling a 30ft TT.

 

I still have the stock Michelins on my ride and I’m just passing along info I’ve come across on this forum - apparently folks have it on their Pro and it works for them so that’s fantastic and the only thing I rock crawl over are the occasional peat gravel rocks that sometimes make their way onto my driveway… Otherwise I am more than happy to keep my truck fully in tact and carry the moniker of being your garden variety Mall Crawler my friend!

 

Purchased the truck, post pics when I get a chance. I will miss my Raptor however, look forward to joining this group and having fun with this truck also.

 

Congrats. Coming from my 4runner Pro it would be hard for me going back to the V6. Especially this V8 sound. You will love it.

 

Ty! I had a little buyers remorse yesterday however, tundra feels solid. V8 sounds great just like the 6.2. I already added a few mods to truck since I have been looking at TRD PRO Lunar Rocks. Finally located one that dealer didn't want 70k for. These things are crazy expensive now.

I really wanted a Gen 1 Roush Raptor before I got my Tundra but I couldn't find a clean, low mileage one. I'm interested in seeing how you think the Tundra compares to the Raptor.

Welcome. Hoping to see yours around. I have only seeing two LR Tundras in over a year since I've had mine (one in Corona and another in the Southbay).

Two different trucks! Raptor handles better in corners and overall feels planted. Tundra feels a little floaty however, solid platform for everyday. I was getting about 9 mpg on raptor with supercharger. Super fun truck just not very practical. Additionally, requires premium fuel and nothing less. Long distance driving, I would carry an extra serpentine belt in the event it came off and need to keep an eye on temp even though I added aluminum radiator and other items to keep engine cool during the hot days in florida. Overall, I think the tundra will suit the family well and no issues for road trips, camping, home stuff etc... I will miss my Gen One because I always wanted one since they came out back in 2010. Time to turn the page and move forward. Hopefully no huge regrets! I just couldn’t pass up the deal for my Raptor and unicorn LR Tundra. I have only seen one other in my area. Also, looked at re-sale. IMO, soon as the the dust settles with the used car market, a raptor that is almost 10 years old will depreciate more than it was worth today. Thoughts?

I was on the line with moving intk a trx, now that the tundra is supercharged, no regrets, the trx is awesome in terms of sheer speed, but there's some stuff make it hard to live with, now the truck is nearly as fast as a trx, I'm satisfied.

 

Dang welcome! I traded my raptor for the same truck. Not gonna lie, 3 months later I regret it like crazy hahaha. Whoops.

A 2020 in lead foot . I really miss it. And with the market right now buying a used one isn’t even an option, or I would trade in my lunar rock in a second . The peace of mind of the pro is nice , but after a few road trips with our tear drop I realized I made a mistake lol. Oh well.

 

Welcome. I used to get my '08 serviced at Gladstone a lot.

 

Tried to pick up a brand new LR TRD Pro in NY, but they won't sell to out of state. I even asked if my wife working in Buffalo counted but without a NY license it's a no go. Prob one of the last brand new at MSRP in the nation.

Sold it for 8k profit to pick up my f150 custom order. Tried picking another up until my 22 tundra gets in.
