Anybody else have a problem with the cruise control radar? Can it be permanently disabled?

When you turn on the cruise control hold the button down until you see radar is disabled. It will stay that way until you turn off cruise control or shut the truck off.

I hate it and WISH it could be permanently disabled.

How hard is it to hold the button instead of clicking it to turn on cruise control?

Whatever this forum told me to do
adding a S/C makes cruise control a hoot.

Until this thread, I was not aware of the ability to disable it for each trip. I would like to disable it permanently though.
