    So I have a '22 on order.
    I'd like to use my old Gen 1 steelies and winter tires/studs on the new whip for Winter use. The tires are virtually new. A source here mentioned that the 16"er's might not clear the Gen 3 caliper/rotor/shield etc.
    Has anyone tried to put a 16" Gen 1 Tundra or Taco rim on a new '22?

    If the rotors and breaks carry over from the 2nd gen then if I am not mistaken the smallest wheel you can run is a 17”.

    Yes. 6 on 5.5”. Same lug pattern as Tacoma’s and 4RUNNER’s. The offsets are different between models but generally interchangeable.
