Interesting. I have the ESP bins in the garage waiting go to be installed and have been thinking about how to work around my husky liners that cover under seat too.

This is interesting. My first question was how would you take out the mats to vacuum then remembered I very rarely do that so not really an issue.

    Thanks for the idea.

    Lots.
You're welcome! When my OCD kicks in and I need to vacuum under the mats back there (once in a blue moon) I just pull the bin and lift the mats out to get to the carpet. Only occasionally happens with sand from the beach because the Weathertechs cover really well back there.

Yeah I haven’t done it before But doesn’t doesn’t look to be too difficult. I did the suspension so the this shouldn’t be near as bad. Only thing I’m a little concerned about is getting the the ball joint to separate - do I need a tool or should it break loose fairly easy?

Im waiting for my 60 inch aluminum wheel well boxes from Lund. thought about the swing boxes but it sucks when you got gear and tools in the box, you wont be able to swing them open for easier access. I have no good experiences with plastic either, they get brittle with the winter temps up here and break over time.

Loosen the nut but leave it on by a few threads. Hit it in the circled area on the spindle and it should pop loose. I used a small sledge hammer on mine...5 or 10 lbs.

I've seen a number of folks here with axes in their bed. Assuming that you're using your Tundra for overland recreation and not S&R, what situations would call for an axe? Tree over the trail?

Yes we spend a fair amount of time camping and taking trips to the mountains for fun in the snow. My theory is better be prepared than not.

EXCEPTIONAL is the word. Tasteful. I really like your truck!
Can I ask… I get confused with this suspension stuff.

I don’t off road as much maybe just hunting and pros were 15k over Moro so I bought a limited and put the bilstein 6112 on while I wait for my pro suspension. The rebuild every 50k miles kindve bugs me with the fox shocks but other pro owners said the foxs are marginally better than the bilsteins maybe not as stiff. My 6112 are at 1.9 so stock pro height. With the westcott kit does it put shims like coach builder in the front of the truck? And what about the plus 3 in the rear? It doesn’t actually lift the truck 3 inches right?

I don’t want my braking drive ability mpg coefficient of drag to go further down so I don’t want 37’s or a heavy mt but I’m going for the stout stance with bbs trd pro wheels kindve like yours. Should I put shims and do the lift in the rear? All I have is 6112 at 1.9” in front. Thinking of running a 295 or 285since it’s 10 lbs lighter unless someone else has a better suggestion. Falken wildpeak nitto or other. Maybe Baja boss? I just don’t want to throw rocks like my stock Michelins and want to clear and be bigger than stock like how it should’ve came from the factory and I want that refined dad look of just enough aggressiveness and purpose for when we do out to deer camp or something.

    any help is really appreciated

Thank you sir. Not a ton of room to operate here especially on the drivers side the lines and the steering column make impossible to get a torque wrench on the drivers side at least on the back nut. Hopefully I’m able to be able to tighten from the front bolt head but it’s pretty dam tight as well.

I know tacomas had that button in black. I think it may be a phone call button. You can’t order just the black switch. You can however order the whole switch in black

I really like this idea. Did you have to run it to behind the head unit? And will it come on when you’re in drive or reverse or you flip a individual switch?

Congratulations on the weather tech sponsorship! Haha just teasing. On your second picture down. The passenger side corner piece right under the glove box closest to the door hinge. My mgm’s piece is crooked like that too. Someone said there’s a clip supposed to be straight. Have you messed with that piece at all? I was going to take mine to the dealer because that is bugging me big time. I couldn’t figure it out without wanting to snap it off

Some private timber companies also require certain items like an axe, shovel and a 5lb fire extinguisher to recreate on their property. Rather have it and not need it…

Finished installing the MESO lights. They’re a bit ‘warmer’ than the LASFIT LEDs I had in, but those were a touch too white/blue for me.

The driver side clip came fine but the passenger side clip for the map lights did not want to let go. Had to gorilla grab the thing to pull the piece down and reach in there with needle nose pliers to get the clip off. I ended up bending the bracket attached to the cab roof in doing so. It bent back fine but just letting you all know in case any of you experience the same.

I didn’t remove the entire dome assembly like the video shows. I removed the cover, bulbs and reflector and then popped the MESO unit in place just fine. All is working and now I have a sweet red option for low light situations

That's what I was more or less expecting. Depending on which leather steering wheel I find I may research the cost of the switch and/or getting one and just replacing the button if its the same angle and shape

    Thanks!

I think they'll work for me. I'll only be keeping range supplies in them, and having ready access in a system that still allows use of the bed between the wells is worth a try.

Bought a new to me, super clean, 2015 TSS. I've already removed the decals and step bars, currently on the hunt for some new wheels. Also have a BakFlip MX4 and a center console charging tray on the way.

Why are you changing the wheels? I think they look great , they look nice with the silver Tundra.

AHHHH YESSSS I was giving this thought as well. I have the 1794 mats and they are really cool, but with kids, camping, and such I think I want this in the rear area.

Loading up the table furniture and the hand truck from the latest gun show. The rail system is REALLY nice to bungie the trailer spare tire and the Gorilla hand cart to so they don't go flying around while driving!

    20220109_162058.jpg

Different view of the truck loaded up.
    20220109_162107.jpg

My poor filthy Bolo... The trailer is rated at a ton GVWR and even when full with guns & ammo (and, I suspect, right at or even over that ton weight), the Bolo barely notices the weight behind it. Putting it in Tow/Haul mode just makes it light up the rear tires when I smack the gas pedal at a stop sign. That was a subtle hint that I don't need it except going down my road to the valley - 800' drop in elevation in less than 3 miles.

I did, however, have to throw it in 4Hi on the way to the gun show Friday afternoon - weather started closing in and the snow was starting to build up on the road surface, and he actually started to fishtail once. That was enough of a hint - I threw it in 4Hi until I got to Rutland and the roads were just wet, not snow-covered.

I may actually start purchasing the monthly plans at the car wash up in Williston - the beast just keeps getting filthy from all the road grime here in Vermont.
    20220109_162219.jpg

And yesterday on a service call (day job is field tech), the Bolo hit 60K miles. Weather had gone up to 5°; it was -9° when I left to head to the warehouse to pick up a spare sound card.
