I think the above photo is a hybrid test vehicle. I don't think the non-hybrid gets those.

I think the sr5 is the best looking trim at this point.

Your truck is my favourite. Celestial silver, blacked out badging, black interior, after market heritage grille is my goal.

As for A/T I was thinking a set of Grabbers. We'll see.

I don’t mud and don’t find the looks of mud tires worth all the downside of daily driving with them. I find the ko2 a good compromise of looks and function.

I want to just order green parts for the mustache, handles and maybe black for the rear bumper.

I just got a quote of $1400 for wrapping the mustache and back bumper pieces…at that price I will wait for “something or someone else” to come along.

    My prediction:

Ride quality will take a hit, but be tolerable still.

Noise will increase significantly once those meats have over 10K on them.

Fuel mileage will take a hit in the order of 2-3 mpg overall.

Traction on gravel, dirt, mud, sand, and deep wet snow will be improved.

Traction on dry sealed roads will be worse, significantly worse on wet sealed roads. Traction on packed snow, ice, and dry snow will be significantly worse.

Stability due to the deep treat blocks with high void spaces will be reduced. Towing performance will suffer.

I have tried aggressive MT style tires and will never run them again as a daily driver tire. In a perfect scenario I would run a good all around all terrain with good road manners and inclement weather on road performance, and put a set of studded MT’s on a set of steelies for occasional specific duties during hunting season or intentional off road expeditions.

These are A/T and they are only a load D tire not crazy amount heavier then stock. 55# I believe. No doubt they negatively affect mileage, ride and noise to some degree. Just so little I can’t notice.

I’m getting 21 driving 60 mph with the stock wildpeaks. so I’ll know shortly but I’m guessing it will be less then 2mpg.

Also interested in pics of tow mirrors. That’s the exact truck (Limited, well TRD off-road added- Canadian) and tow mirrors apparently not avail for us here on this model. I want to show dealer that ‘Toyota does have them’ for this exact model. Curious if they are powered or manual.

According to my options list, they’re powered. I’ll be sure to update tomorrow after I take delivery with some pics and impressions. I’ll probably be super biased from new truck excitement like everyone else.
