    My wife tested positive this morning for Covid. She feels pretty rough. I am asymptomatic so far and praying that it stays that way, but I shared a Coke with her last night, so I know I have been exposed.

    The worst part is that this will likely make us miss our Jackson Hole ski trip next week. :(:(:(

    We had 10 out of 21 people from our family Christmas party get sick. The ones that got tested, including me, were positive. All were vaccinated and two are boosted. Surprisingly (maybe) the one that wasn't vaxxed didn't get sick, he had it in the early days.

    Sorry to hear that. We both got sick on the 29th and are still dealing with fatigue and coughing. I tested positve on the Jan 1st, got a second test Friday, had to for work.

    Thank y'all. We've both had vax + 1 booster - Pfizer for me and Moderna for her. She works in healthcare and knows how to research these things well. Her hospital was giving the Moderna. The Pfizer was just the first available for me. Both are effective, and both are as safe as pretty much any other anti-viral shot out there. That's the scientific perspective. I went and got her a half gallon of Olive Garden Zuppa Toscano soup (they brought it out to my truck). Hopefully she will be able to enjoy it.

    Right now it's just like a very bad cold for her. She has chills and is thirstier than usual - and she drinks a lot of water even on slow days. She's sleeping in my daughter's room so she has her own room and bathroom to quarantine in. I deliver anything she needs to my son's room (adjacent Jack & Jill setup with shared bathroom). Good thing the kids have gone back to school!
