    Not necessarily. But they should be checked every time when you service your brakes or have issues on stop.

    Same here. I was going to get some wheels but this great deal on a sway bar and UCA's came my way. Gotta take advantage of it!

    I'll get wheels around January and probably get some rotors then, get it all knocked out at once!

    Had stealer put brake on my '11 Tundra in last year or so. They were shit and required more pressure to get truck stopped. Change in pad material I was told.

    If I were doing it again I would have done brakes myself with another pad.

    Update:

    Installed the PowerStop Kit. Ceramic carbon pads and drilled and slotted rotors. They don't have much street time so no true to snuff review, but the kit is BEEFY as hell. Really nice quality on the machining (no spurs or shavings). All packaged really well as well. I've gotta say - I was sold when I opened the box and saw them. They weigh substantially more than OEM rotors which made them feel a lot more rugged and durable.

    Before and after pictures. Also cleaned up and sanded down the calipers, treated and painted em black to stop some corrosion and cleaned up/re-greased the upper joints. Really satisfied as of right now. We'll see how it holds up!

    FWIW I use EBC pads and rotors on my wife's car and on my previous car. My tundra is still OEM. As long as you follow the recommend break in procedure you shouldn't have any problems with EBC. Nice smooth braking with plenty of stopping power. When my truck needs brakes, that's what I'm putting on. Redstuff pads with slotted rotors.

    Man. I've been driving 3 hours today. These brakes are awesome... Really smooth but aggressive when you need it. Really impressed with the break in phase. Feeling good about longevity.

    Every StopTech® Sport Rotor is produced from a high quality Centric Parts® blank casting and finished in a durable e-coating for corrosion resistance.
    StopTech® Sport Rotors are finished with black e-coating on both sides of the hat, inside the cooling vanes, and on the outside edge. E-coating is a superior electro-statically applied finish designed to withstand 400 hours of salt water exposure without rusting. This is especially important on both mounting faces of the hat where it touches the hub flange and back face of the wheel. Any accumulation of rust in these area can lead to installed lateral run out issues.
    Power Alloy metallurgy is an exclusive feature of many StopTech® rotors. In specific vehicle applications, StopTech works with foundry partners to increase the molybdenum or carbon content of the castings, and to carefully control the cooling rate during production to reach targets for hardness and tensile strength.

    Very. They stop on a dime. I kinda wish I had done the calipers to (just cause I tried it on my friends 4runner and they were even more amazing.) But compared to stock it's night and day difference. Especially in wet conditions.

    Just pulled the trigger on some Power Stop Z36 Truck & Tow Brake Kit for fronts and rears. I didn't opt for calipers because I don't have the need. I tow a LOT with my truck so I'll see how these do. They ship for free tomorrow. I payed 350$ for the whole kit on auto anything. There is also a 30$ rebate apparently. :burnrubber:

    I did the powerstop kit on my chevy. did everything except the calipers. Worked great. Had absolutely no issues out of them. No warpage. Trucked stopped great in wet or dry weather, pulling a trailer, etc...
