Knew that was coming from you! Also gives me time to mount and wire up the air compressor and plum air lines to the front and rear bumpers

There's that too, thats a good thing to do. Are you gonna set up a quick connect at each bumper so you can plug a hose in the get pumped up?

Well, on the upside, if you've been jabbed, some people in UK and SA have been showing "super immunity" in breakthrough cases.

Speaking of broken, I was fine yesterday, can hardly walk today. 2nd toe is SCREAMING at me anytime I put weight on it. That foot is dark red and veins are standing out like I've been lifting dumbells with it. Stubbed my large toe at a cabin 8-10 days ago, kicking a poorly placed 2" step-up square on. Looks like there may be more damage than I originally thought. Good thing work doesn't have me traveling right now, I guess? That 2nd toe is CHUBBED.

I have been jabbed so here is hoping.
That sucks. I seem to jam my toes constantly. Runs in my family lol. My dewalt mamba fell over onto the top of my foot and bruised it pretty good a week ago. May have broken a bone but not really anything you can do about it except take it easy.
I assume you’re foot/leg isn’t cold to the touch or anything? Still have feeling and all?

I'm going with red and looks inflamed because your body is pushing blood there to deal with the trauma or infection or both. Get it looked at.

I don't think they are calling them breakthrough cases anymore. Everyone is getting the new variant, and there is no real evidence the jab helps with that. We are fully vaccinated, and I caught it. I gave it to the entire house. I was pretty sick a couple of days and have just been week with an annoying cough. It's lasted a couple of weeks for me. My wife has just been tired more than anything. 9YO has it with no real symptoms. Last one to get it was our 2YO and she is having some trouble with it, pretty pitiful honestly. The nice thing is once you have it the natural immunity you get from it seems to be awesome against all strains. My doctor called it the "golden ticket".

    I love goo gone.

I am pro-vax but hey, doesn't really bother me if someone wants to opt out for themselves, I like freedom, don't really care for masks.

And pirateship rules. But I do wish we had a slow-as-f shipping company for big/heavy/oversized stuff. I almost wonder if Amazon could establish such a service since they mostly are last mile deliveries, hence there is room in those vans for pickups. Take that to a centralized location, then figure out the distribution to the target location somehow as space permits on the big rigs, then sprinkle into trucks when they are lighter / during non-peak times.

Many vehicle parts are big, heavy, and not terribly urgent. I would gladly take 2-3 week delivery time for 30% less in price.

Little swollen. Not getting looked at (yet). RICE today, if it's painful enough to wake me up again at 3am tomorrow, Teledoc it is, maybe they'll send me somewhere for films. I'm accident prone, this is no new thing for me. I already shattered the small to on the left, healthy foot, not sure if you can see the scar, I had to have it pinned. They pulled the pin, I skipped OT, it's almost totally immobile.

Thing is I didn't think I injured either of those two bastards, #2 and the middle. I mostly impacted my big toe, and it hurt too much to hike the 1st 3 days, then by day 6 I was mostly good again. Did a lot of heavy lifting just before working on the truck (honey-do stuff), went to bed after working on the truck and showering, it felt fine. Then wake up at 3am and my foot is f'n throbbing. And it's those two little shits hurting.

On a recent grill shipment from @wandering_boy I got the best price through BikeFlights of all things. I love those guys. I think it was like $40 when everyone else wanters $80-110

Goo Gone. Will make your stuff reek like fake citrus, but works wonders at removing electrical tape goo. PB Blaster will also remove a lot of sticky stuff, as will any fine oil like 3-in-1. But Goo Gone seems the best for me. I typically use Goo Gone or PB to remove handlebar tape adhesive.

This, it works great to remove anything sticky!!! The crap left over from debadging, the crap seal left from the 3rd brake light, tar on your hands, it does it all

I'm lock step with you, I think those that are up in age and more at risk should have it. But by no means think it should be forced. I'm happy to see the death rates go to about zero.

I would make the effort to get that looked at by a podiatrist. Last time I had a foot issue it was for an ingrown toenail which I removed with some pliers, a cutter, lots of hydrogen peroxide and a bottle of JD (for the pain).

Probably not a wise choice reflecting back on it but it did save me over $300 in deductibles and copays for outpatient surgery.

Hand sanitizer. Nothing works better than hand sanitizer for tree sap. WD40 is no slouch, but hand sanitizer takes it off in 1/3 the time. Put a dab on the sap, rub it in a couple swirls, wipe the sap away like magic.

Twenty below zero tomorrow with the windchill. Guess I'm not going anywhere. I'll probably drip my faucet for most of the night to keep the pipes from freezing over.
